Yesterday in English class we started a Star Crossed Lovers unit. So the teacher was describing that the Star Crossed Lovers trope usually involves two people who can't be together.
So I whisper to my friend:
I have a problem, the first thing I thought of was the staircase ballet.
She was trying so hard not to laugh so we didn't get in trouble.
Then a couple minutes later the teacher asks us what other media we know of with the Star Crossed Lovers trope.
So I once again whisper to my friend:
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
This time she actually snorted.
