Chapter 35

"Okh try to handle it just for today I'll arrive there tomorrow " Ace declined the call and walked out of the door of his cabin not before leaving the phone on his desk.

Alisha jumped in her bed and opened her arms covering all the space in a starfish pose.

She moved her hands and legs like people do when they play in snowfall.

"It feels so good to sleep alone in your bed, thank God I got a chance to get back here and I wouldn't have to sleep with him at least for a few days or weeks"

She closed her eyes and let herself rest for a while that's when suddenly she opened her eyes and she sat up in quick speed and started thinking

'What he would be doing now? Should I call him? What he cut my call it'll be embarrassing '

After thousands of yes and nos, she called him and realised he is taking longer than usual to pick up.

After few more rings it was picked up and she greeted more like questioned

"Hello?"

"Hello," a feminine voice with an Indian accent replied with the greetings.

"Who are you and why you are attaining his call?" Replied Alisha with her heart rate speeding like a bullet train with several thoughts in her mind.

'is he cheating on me? Was he waiting for me to go so that he can do all this? I fallen for a wrong man? So all my hopes are now just pieces? Our relationship will end up  with divorce like I wished for?'

"I'm Rajya Lakshmi, and sir left his phone on the desk and it was ringing so I picked up thinking it was important"

"Who are you to him and what are you doing near this desk? Don't you know he has a wife that's me and He never let me go in there?" Asked Alisha almost busting in tears while asking these questions. Her hands and legs are shivering with the thought of being cheated.

"I'm his Hindi teacher and I give him Hindi lessons in his office. I do know he has a wife and I do know it's you from the contact name. And he wanted to keep it surprise but I guess it's better to bust it before your relationship get ruin. So, he wanted to surprise you by learning fluent Hindi and that's why he was secretly taking lessons from me." Replied Rajya Lakshmi leaving Alisha little reliefed and little bit irritated too.

"Oh....so can you pass him my little message when he returns"

"Sure" replied the Rajya Lakshmi and started listening to the message Alisha was passing with the smile but her smile fade away as she got to know what Alisha said.

Alisha wore her lehenga which was given by Moni after she get to know she don't have anything to wear at the function of haldi.

Haldi function is set up in a big resort with fantastic yellow decor to suit the vibes. The luxurious it looks the more it cost. But hey worry when it's the wedding of the biggest member of the rich family. All money is paid by the so Mr. Srivastav has no problem and Mrs. Srivastav got a place to flex infront of her so called gold digger friends about her luxury.

Moni was sitting in between the crowds of aunty that are boring her with their seventeen hundred years ago knowledge of how to take care of a husband and how to satisfy him.
Some of them blushing and some of the them laughing at her fate to get married to an old forgey.

Meanwhile Alisha is standing a little away from them and glaring at them. She just want to shoo them away from their sister and console her that she is with her.

And beside her is Nacho who had become sandwich, firstly in between Alisha and her stepmom and now his boss and Alisha.

"Ma'am please talk to him, he is constantly calling me and asking for you to talk" said nacho offering her phone which is connected to Ace who lis listening to all this for hours.

"You know my answer, so don't waste your energy" replied Alisha walking away from him as he is annoying her for hours and her ears are tired of listening to the same thing.

"But ma'am" replied poor Nacho. He thought today he can get some time to spend with Moni and cheer her up as she was upset but ended up getting stuck in between the matter of  husband and wife.

Let me tell you with a flashback what happened which lead to this situation.

Door open revealing it's Ace who just come back after working on some of issues related to his work. That's when rajya Lakshmi said to him

"Sir, your wife called"

"So you didn't picked it up, did you?" He asked her not paying attention on her.

"Sir she thought you're having an affair with me, and I didn't wanted to ruin someone's relationship so I told her the truth and her surprise." Rajya Lakshmi bluntly told him everything.

"So what did she replied?" Asked ace keeping a hand on his heart to prevent from having any stroke if she said something he didn't wanted to hear.

"She told me to pass a message to you" she replied.

"What is it? Say it what are you waiting for!" He questioned getting irritated for not knowing what she wants to say.

"She said 'Go to hell' " said Rajya Lakshmi almost hide her face and covering her ears and she knows what is coming up soon.

"Get out!"

Ace tried calling her several time but she cuts his call in every first ring like she is sitting there and doing this on purpose to irritate him.

Ace tried to get in contact with her through nacho but Alisha is stubborn, she refused to talk to him and even hear his voice.

And that's how Nacho ended being sandwich in between two instead of spending time with Moni.
