Chapter 43

"What?!" Alisha's voice echoed hearing his unexpected response. Before she could process and say something further there was a knock on their door that distracted her.

She looked there to see Moni peeking in the way asking if she could come in. Alisha nodded and she came inside and informed them, that she was setting up a new movie that was released a few days ago and asked if they wanna join.

Alisha and Ace agreed and Moni left the room. Alisha glared at Ace and said.

"When we get back, I need to talk about that spy camera matter," Alisha said while Ace just now his head like a good five-year-old boy who is getting instructions from his mommy.

They walked out of their room and reached downstairs to the room that was already prepared with all the arrangements to look like a mini home theater.

Moni entered the room behind them with Nacho who was smiling with his heart as she herself asked him for their plan.

There is a connected sofa that is enough for two and on the carpeted floor two cushions were placed for the other two persons. The snacks and drinks were served already on the side tables.

Moni was about to explain the seat planning that was a dreamful for all three: Ace, Nacho, and Moni which was Ace and Alsiha over the sofas and Nacho and Moni on the pillow cushion. But it all got ruined by overexcited Alisha, who pulled her sister with her over the pillow and poured water over the dream of three.

"But di" Moni tried to protest against her sister as she also wanted to have a movie night experience with her... whatever.

"What?" Asked Alisha getting annoyed

"I have seating plans" Replied Moni making Alisha give her a boring look.

"We're not at the real theater, we can sit wherever we want!" Alisha exclaimed and leaned back occupying her seat.

Moni was about to say something in reply but stopped when got an assured look from Ace who just moved towards Alisha lifted her in the air with one arm and bounced her on the couch as he took his place too.

Ace tried to cover Alisha in the same blanket as his but before he could she moved to the other corner of the sofa saying "It's hot".

Moni getting happy as everything was going according to their plan, went to shut the light and turn on the mini project that she installed.

As the light turned off, Alsiha started feeling a little uneasy as she was afraid of the dark so she shifted a little towards Ace, which he noticed and smirked.

"Kon si movie hai?"

(What type of movie?)

"Horror movie" This remake from Moni made Alsiha shift a little bit more towards her husband who couldn't help but smile at her little wife's actions.

But still, there was some space in between them, which he eagerly wanted to enclose but for that, he needed to use a curved trick to get her in hai arms.

"Turn up the volume," Ace said getting the popcorn bucket settled on his lap. Meanwhile, half scared Alisha who is biting her nails getting scared of any little sound made from the big speakers arranged by her sister.

Ace smirked watching her peeking from gaps in between her fingers. He thought to use his other trick.

He picked up the AC remote that was resting on the side table and lowered the temperature making Alsiha shiver.

Slowly the little cocoon returned to its silk Sheal. In other words, Alisha shifted a little after every few minutes and got herself covered in the blanket, without her getting caught by the person sitting beside her. Yeah, that's what she thinks!
