Chapter 45

They were about to drive way back to him, but that's when she got a message from Moni that her lehenga was due to be picked up from the tailor for altering.

Alisha thought to pick it up as the place came in between their route to home. After the car halted in front of the shopping mall, Alisha got out and went inside after telling them to wait for her in the car. Ace insisted on going with her, but she told him to take care of Meow instead.

Ace made faces like a five-year-old but eventually agreed. Alisha rushed to the shop and asked them to hand over the lehenga. While the tailor told her to wait, Alisha thought to look around to kill time.

Suddenly, her eyes caught the sight of beautiful lehengas on the showpiece. She can imagine herself in even and every beautiful dress her eyes roaming at. A beautiful blue lehenga with peacock patterns from its mid to the ends made her almost freeze for a second.

She was in delusion to see herself in that dress in the evening event but soon was out as she remembered she didn't have enough savings in her bank account on which she deposited some money by teaching kids in neighbour for her expenses.

She remembered he only had five thousand in her account the last time she checked. She laughed off her silly thought of buying such an expensive dress for a day and walked towards the tailor, resting the cloth piece on the table. Alisha paid the money and hung the big dress over her shoulder with the help of her hand.

She again got near that blue lehenga that was shining under the light and locked in the glass piece. She was about to walk away that's when she felt a hand on her waist dragging her inside the store.

She looked at her side to find Ace with Meow in his other hand in a capsule.
He took her inside, and that's when the staff approached them and asked what are they looking for.

"My wife would like to buy the blue dress for the show. Can you pack it real quick?" Ace replied leaving Alisha in pure shock.

Alisha thought to tell him that she didn't want to buy it, but before that, another staff approached them and asked them to come towards the bill counter. Alisha's heart started to beat very fast, thinking she was soon going to be embarrassed in front of others as she couldn't even afford the price of the veil of the dress.

After they stopped in front of the counter, the staff asked if they would like to make payment by cash or card.

Alisha was about to apologise by lying that she liked something else more than this dress in the mall and was going to buy that instead. But before she could open her mouth to say her husband beat her into that and said.

"My wife will pay by her card" Alisha was now all silent; her mind was frozen; The only thing that her mind concluded was that he was taking any kind of revenge because she was angry with him or maybe he didn't like her rude behaviour towards him.

Alisha just lowered her head to face all the embarrassment but suddenly she felt someone made her grab something in her hand. Her head lifted itself straight,t and she pulled her hands up until she could see what it was.

But when her eyes saw a black premium credit card in her hand, her heart almost jumped out of her rib cage. There was a big golden crown was decorated on it. Alisha flipped it to the other side to see her name punched on it, leaving her in pure shock.

Ace noticed that Alisha was still lost in her black card while the staff on the counter was waiting for her to pass it to her after adoring it to her fullest.

Ace pushed her hand forward gently from where the staff grabbed it and swiped for the payment. After the payment was approved, she returned the card to Alisha, who was still looking at it like something magical object.
