Chapter 38

Alisha walked into the living room with a tray in her hand only to find him sitting there and smirking at her.

Alisha gave him a bored face and placed the tray in front of him. And was about to walk away that's when Dadi (grandma) entered the scene.

"Kaha ja rahi ho?" Asked dadi.

(Where are you going?)

"Room me?" Alisha replied

(In my room)

"Toh damad ji ko kon serve karega?" Asked dadi

(So, who'll serve my son-in-law?)

"Aab rakh toh Diya samne" Alisha replied.

(I kept that in front)

With one hard glance from Dadi Alisha picked up the glass and handed it over to Ace who was enjoying the scene.

Alisha was already boiling in anger seeing him laughing at her when she heard another giggling sound from the other corner to saw her sister too laughing at her situation.

'yeh isko bachane aayi thi mai, maan toh kar raha aabhi kanyadaan kar du iska uss budhe se' she thought in her mind with a little smile on her face.

(I came here to save her, but now I feel like I should just let her get married to the old forgery)

Meanwhile, Ace was eating the snacks served but suddenly he was searching for something to wipe his hand with but couldn't find anything.

Moni saw him and brought him some tissue but instead, he used his wife's pullu (excess cloth from the dress) to wipe his hand and also used it to clean his mouth.

This moment is Alisha like a volcano who wants to bust but can't because a big volcano is sitting near her that'll bust even if she says one word to him.

After that, he was supping the drink while checking her up and down. She turned her hand in the other direction thinking if she looked at him her anger would boil so it'd be better to look the other way.

She turned her head around to see Dadi all gone. She took that as a chance and pulled him into the corner almost dragging the heavy man.

"Kyu aaye ho yaha?" She asked him in a low voice so that her dadi wouldn't hear that.

(What you came here for?)

"Aapko apne hone wale baccho ki maa banane aaya hu Biwi ji," he said while making her trap in between him and the wall, leaning near her earlobe.

(To make you the mother of my upcoming child in the future, my wife)

This left Alisha stunned. She turned her head around to see her sister blushing indicating she heard everything in between them. Her cheeks turned red.

He saw a redness of blush and said
"Toh chale?"

With that, he pulled her into his arms and started walking towards the stairs that's when Dadi saw them and smiled.

Meeting eyes with Dadi, Alisha immediately hides her face in Ace's chest due to the embarrassing position she is in.

After Ace walked up the stairs, dadi walked toward Moni and said.

"Dekho! damad ho toh essa ho Varna na ho!" Which made Moni giggle and blush more.

(See, have a son-in-law like this or nothing)

Meanwhile, in the corner of the hall, Nacho clicks her photos while taking notes on his boss's actions.

Ace opened the door of her room and closed it with his foot while she was sitting hiding her face in his chest.
This made him smile too.
