It was a stormy night as a ship sailed through the bay. The ship's crew struggled to pull a tarp over their cargo, Toxic waste. One of the barrels toppeled over and started rolling. The crew yelled out warnings before a man caught it.
"Watch it! Any of that toxic junk goes into the bay we're all in deep trouble!" The captain said.
Lightning flashed to reveal a mysterious stranger. Suddenly the cockpit of the ship exploded. The Captain was knocked on his back as the stranger approached him.
"Who...what are you?" The Captain asked.
"I am excellence. I am perfection. I am Trident!" Trident said as his weapon glowed with energy.
The captain screamed as the light blinded him. When the light faded Trident was gone. Down on the deck Trident attached a clamp to the side of the ship.
"Hey!"
Trident dived down into the water and the crew turned to see him on the other side of the ship.
"He's everywhere!" A crew member said as Trident attached another clamp.
The crew looked in all directions and somehow Trident was there. The ship groaned as the clamps began to pull it into the water.
"Abandon ship! Abandon ship!" The Captain said over the intercom.
The crew got into the lifeboat and could only watch as the ship sank, along with Trident.
The next day, below Titans' Tower.
"Begin launch sequence" Robin said as the Titans prepared the T-Sub.
"Main power online" Robin said.
"Oxygen tanks at maximum" Starfire said.
"Defensive systems active" Raven said.
"Sonar up and running" Penn said.
"Twin-turbo, hydro-jet engine purring like a kitten" Cyborg said.
"And your secret weapon is ready to rock" Beastboy said.
"Only time you qualify as a secret weapon is after eating a tofu-bean burrito" Cyborg said causing Bendy to laugh.
"Uh, excuse me, but can you breathe underwater? Uh-uh. Can you be any fish in the sea?" Beastboy asked.
"Uh-uh" Cyborg said.
"Didn't think so" Beastboy said.
Bendy was about to say something but Robin beat him to it.
"Beastboy's right. His skills are essential to our mission" Robin said.
Beastboy blew a raspberry at Cyborg.
"There'll be no living with him after this" Penn muttered.
"We have to find out what this Trident guy is planning. If it takes 40 barrels of toxic waste I doubt it's environmentally friendly" Robin said.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's get this sub rolling" Penn said as the T-Sub prepared to launch.
"Titans, launch!" Robin said.
The T-Sub launched into the sea.
"Wa-hoo!" Beastboy and Bendy cheered.
As the T-Sub went out further into the ocean, Starfire gazed at all the fish in wonder.
"Ooh! Wondrous!"
"If you think they're cool wait till you see me out there kicking butt. First, I'm going shark" Beastboy said before chomping his teeth.
