ch 22 Winner Take All

The Titans were in the Tower playing a card game.

"Fire beats wood" Raven said throwing down a fire card.

"But water beats fire" Cyborg said throwing down a card.

"Sun dries up water" Beastboy said.

"And thunderstorm blocks out the sun" Robin said.

Penn groaned as she slammed down her cards.

"I'm out" Raven said.

"Me too" Beastboy said.

"Ditto" Bendy said.

"I wish to... go the fish?" Starfire said not really understanding the game.

Penn and Bendy looked at her cards before wincing.

"Uh, you want to fold, Star" Penn said.

"Fold? That is good? I am victorious?" Starfire asked hopefully.

Penn and Bendy shook their heads sadly. Starfire slumped in disappointment.

"Sorry, Star. I guess I'm just... invincible" Robin said about to take the card pile when Cyborg stopped him.

"Ah-ah-ah. How can you be invincible if I've still got one card?" Cyborg said smirking as he held up his card.

Robin narrowed his eyes.

"Come on, you know you want to play me for it. One last round, winner take all" Cyborg said.

"You're on, Cyborg, and you're going down" Robin said before picking up his cards.

Robin studied his cards before throwing down a tornado card. Robin crossed his arms and smiled smugly.

"Tornado. Beat that" Robin said.

"Ooh" The Titans said.

"Good move. That was a good move" Bendy said nodding.

"Well, ok" Cyborg said nonchalantly before slamming down his card.

"BOO-YAH!"

The Titans gasped.

"Meteor!?" Robin said in disbelief.

"The one-in-a-million wild card that beats all others. Ah. It's too beautiful for words" Beastboy said tearfully.

"Oh, yeah, baby. Who's invincible now?" Cyborg said doing a victory dance.

Robin was furious as Starfire approached him.

"Be proud and cheerful, Robin. You competed well" Starfire said.

"Winning isn't everything" Raven said.

Robin calmed down.

"Yeah. It's just the only thing that matters. I want a rematch!" Robin snapped.

"Um, I don't know how to tell you this, man, but you're out of cards" Cyborg said.

"Bendy, give me your cards" Robin said.

"Sorry, man, but I don't-"

Bendy was cut off by a flash of light. When the light dimmed Bendy and Robin were gone.

"Huh?" Cyborg said before another flash of light stole him and Beastboy.

The girls looked around confused.

"This is... part of the game?" Starfire asked.

"I'm gonna say no" Penn said.

Meanwhile the Titans and 6 other people suddenly appeared in an unfamiliar location.
