ch 5 The Sum of His Parts

It was a bright and sunny day and the Titans were enjoying it at the park.

"Mmm-mm! Would you look at that? A little sunshine, a little breeze. Only one thing could make this day better" Cyborg said.

"Soup's on!" Bendy said standing infront of a grill wearing a chef's hat and an apron that said 'Kiss the Cook'.

"Aw, yeah!" Cyborg said approaching the grill.

Bendy lifted the lid revealing a rack of ribs.

"Four and a half pounds of baby back ribs!" Cyborg said taking the ribs to the picnic table.

Robin and Penn were eating burgers at the table and Starfire was drinking from a yellow container.

"Man, I love picnic food" Cyborg said before scarfing down the ribs.

"Agreed, Cyborg. This tangy yellow beverage is truly delightful" Starfire said.

It was then that the others noticed what she was drinking.

"Uh, Starfire..."

"That's mustard" Cyborg and Robin said.

"Is there more?" Starfire asked happily.

The three gave her strange looks as Penn slowly pushed her mustard bottle towards Starfire.

"Thank you!" Starfire said happily drinking the condiment.

"Sure... no problem..." Penn said.

Bendy was still at the grill when he saw Beastboy in the tree above him.

"Just in time, Beastboy. Your tofu dogs are ready"

Beastboy hung upside down from a branch as Bendy handed him his food.

"Sweet!" Beastboy said before spying Raven.

"Yo, Raven, try one. They're loaded with soy beanie goodness"

"I respect that you don't eat meat. Please respect that I don't eat fake meat" Raven said.

Beastboy then scarfed down his tofu dogs.

"You're an animal, Beastboy" Bendy said.

"What's your point?" Beastboy asked.

Just then Cyborg ran past them holding a football.

"Alright, y'all! Who wants to play some foo-ball?" Cyborg asked.

The Titans voiced their agreements except for Raven.

"I'll be referee" Raven said when the Titans looked at her.

The Titans got into teams. Robin, Cyborg and Bendy VS Beastboy, Starfire and Penn. The Titans got into positions.

"Red, 23! Hut! Hut! Hut!" Robin said as Cyborg hiked the ball to him.

Cyborg ran while the girls chased after him.

"One Gotham City, two Gotham City..." Beastboy counted down as Robin prepared to throw.

"You can run, you can fly, but you can't catch Cy!" Cyborg said.

Penn laughed as she ran.

"We're gonna make you eat those words, Cyborg!"

"...Four Gotham City, Five Gotham City!" Beastboy said.

Robin yelled as Beastboy turned into a triceratops and charged at him. Bendy tackled Beastboy head on and stopped the charge.

"Go! Go! Go!" Bendy yelled as Robin leaped over him and ran along Beastboy's back.
