49: Leaving Everything Behind

3 days after Gusion and Guinevere's wedding, Alucard goes to the Defense Headquarters to visit Lesley because she isn't responding to any of their text messages and also deactivated all her social accounts.

He proceeded to her former immediate supervisor to ask for her, Good day, sir. I'm looking for Private Vance.

Lesley's former supervisor looked at Al confused. I'm sorry sir, but Private Vance resigned more than a month already.

Alucard was surprised. I'm sorry, what?

Alucard then called some officials from the airport to check if there was some info about Lesley's flight.

Al's connections were able to confirm a flight for a passenger named Lesley but they didn't disclose which Lesley, what time is the departure, and which country is she headed to because they weren't allowed to disclose passenger info.

What if Lesley is already at the airport?

Alucard called Gusion again to give him an update.

Gusion, the airport authority confirmed that there's a passenger named Lesley. But they didn't tell me if it was the Lesley we knew, God knows how many Lesleys are here.
