39: Let me explain

It has been quite a while after the incident at Serenade Night and when she was assigned to team up with Granger in surveillance of the empire...

Granger went to the campus as early as possible. He then proceeds to Lesley's locker. He made sure that no one was there but him before leaving a note and a rose.

"Here goes nothing..." he mumbled. "I do hope she sees this." Then he slapped himself a bit, "of course, she will. She needs her stuff before going to every other class." Then Granger left the area.

That afternoon.....

Lesley's class just finished and an announcement was made through the university microphone.

"Good afternoon, fellow students! All locker owners must renew on or before Friday next week, 4PM, here at the SSG office  if you wish to retain your locker slot. Or else, we will be forced to take your belongings and you have to claim them on your respective department office. Thank you."

She went directly to her locker to put her things for the next class and Then when she reached her spot, she saw another note that came with a red rose taped onto her locker.

"Hi, L. Meet me at the area D parking lot at 3 onwards. See you."

She looked at her watch, it's almost 3, then she looked at the note again,

Claude's the only person that calls me L. But he will never meet me at the parking lot. He will also never leave corny sticky notes on my locker and... She snapped her fingers Granger...

Then she immediately went to the supreme student government office to renew her locker slot together with Harley's.

"Might have to settle with my locker and Harley's first before meeting Granger."

"Hi! What can we do for you?"

"I'm renewing locker slot for me and my brother."

Then the student assistant handed over an application form to Lesley. She filled it up with all the necessary info about her and Harley and returned it to the student assistant.

"Please, have a sit while I encode the necessary info in our records..."

Lesley nodded and waited patiently at the waiting area.

After a few minutes, the student assistant handed a receipt and a sticker that is needed to be placed at the locker as proof that she renewed their slot.
