29: Summer and Claude

Halu everyone! Sorry for the super duper late update, I just got my laptop back. As much as I wanted to continue writing via mobile app, I'm not really comfortable with it.

So here's an update after.... 2 weeks or so? I really am sorry. :(

"So what made you decide to enroll this summer term considering that you're already accelerated?" Miya's question has left Lesley speechless. 

"You're really finding your way out here in the university as soon as possible?" Miya asked her again with crossed arms as they walked to their respective classes.

"Yes. It's actually one of my perks for passing the exam." Lesley said proudly.

"I hate you." Miya mumbled.

Lesley giggled then held her arm and rested her head on Miya's shoulder, "I love you too, Miya."

Miya just sighed. "Anyways, how many subjects you decided to take this term?"

"I maxed the allowed subjects, Miya."

"So you enrolled 3?!" Miya said in a shocking tone.

Lesley just smiled at Miya and raised her brows repeatedly. 

Miya stopped walking and took off Lesley's hands on her arm, "For real? You know, Ley, I trust your decisions, you're old enough and I hope it wont consume you." 

"It wont, I promise." Lesley said then raised her right hand.

"LeYa promise?" Miya asked her with narrowed eyes.

"LeYa promise." Lesley confirmed and did pinky promise.

They started walking again until Miya looked at Lesley, "So... How's Gu---"

"I don't know, probably dead. Or making someone else..." Lesley cuts Miya off and answered her sarcastically.

"Why so bitter?" Miya asked her in a teasing manner.

"It's been a month and a half since he stopped talking to me. He wont answer my messages in messenger. Won't reply to my texts. I mean???" Lesley said in frustration while shrugging her shoulders.

"Like, you don't tell someone that you love them and you mean everything to them and then drop her off the next day." Lesley blurted.

Miya was shocked with what she heard from Lesley, "he did what??!?!?!?!!?!!!!" 

"He told me that he loves me... during their graduation ball. Didn't I tell you?" Lesley asled Miya in a confused tone.

"No! My goodness, Ley! How dare you!" She yelled at Lesley. 

"Sorry, Miya." Lesley said while giggling.

"I need details later!" Miya yelled at her. 

Then Miya held her forehead and sighed, "Anyway, don't stress yourself over a guy that's ghosted you. You're beautiful, Ley. There are so many God damned fish in the sea. Don't settle for Sardinella." Miya told her then caressed her hair.
