9.2: Just a dream

Hi huns! Very short chapter about Lesley's dream.

Because of their tiring family time at the mall, Lesley instantly fell asleep. While she was on her deep slumber, there's so many things going on in her dreams that a particular scene made a huge impact in her sleep up to the rest of her day.

It was a fine day, Lesley was with someone that she knows. In real life, she knows who this person is, but in her dreams, she completely has no idea who she was with.

"where are we going?" she asked the person.

"to a place where we can appreciate small things" the boy said. Lesley completely knew who the boy was. From the voice, hair, and face. But in her dreams, she cannot remember who it was. She has no idea who he was.

"okay. just make sure there's an ice cream to whichever or where we'll go." Lesley said.

As they were walking, she saw Harley and hugged him.

"Harley! What are you doing here?"

"oh, hey! Excuse me, miss. Stop with the hugs. I'm sorry, but do I know you?" Harley asked her that made Lesley dumb founded

"what's wrong with Harley? He is so busted when he gets home" she said.

She thought Harley was just playing around and just shrugged it off. The two continued walking until they reached an ice cream shop and the boy got Lesley one. They continued their walk while Lesley finishes her ice cream until they reached a hill with a big tree, big enough to be a shelter for the sunlight.

The two climbed the hill until they reached the top. They sat under the big tree for a moment to take a rest.

"this is what I'm talking about... take a look" the boy said as he looked over the view. They can see the city over the hilltop and on the other side are meadows and forest.

"it's beautiful" Lesley said as she stares at the views from the hill.

"and so are you" the boy said.

Hearing those words made Lesley's heart skip a beat. "the last person who told me that I'm beautiful was father." She thought.

As she was standing and enjoying the view, she felt the boy's presence from her back and hugged her from behind. Her eyes widened and her body froze from the hug and she can feel the boy's breath brushing through her ear.

"I wanted to take you here for so long. I wanted to share to you the small things that make me happy... and it includes you..."

Lesley was still shookt with what's happening and just let it all through. Then the boy let go of his hug. He faced Lesley, pinned her onto the huge tree, and looked straight into her eyes. The boy brushed Lesley's hair that almost covered her entire face because of the winds blowing her hair from side to side.

The boy, still looking straight into her eyes, said "I like you. I hope you don't mind. I hope we can still be friends."

Lesley was still in state of shock, still speechless with what's happening. Her heart was beating faster and faster like she joined a marathon.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She finally managed to talk and tell the boy "thank you for appreciating me, for liking me. but... you see... I'm not yet ready. But... we can still be friends you know." then she smiled at the boy.

The boy felt a pain in his heart upon hearing Lesley's words. "Thank you. It's alright. I can wait." The boy said and hugged her again.

Lesley hugged him back that made him smile. The boy's heart was all over the place. He was trying to keep his cool but he just can't.

He brushed Lesley's hair again, "would it be alright if I kiss you?"

Lesley froze with the boy's question and didn't managed to say any word.

The boy brushed Lesley's hair again and looked straight into her eyes and..................

Lesley's alarm finally rang.

She hit her alarm clock and cussed.

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKIN HELL WAS THAT?!"

Lesley slapped herself from left to right to wake her senses up. "THAT WAS HELLA CREEPY. I DREAMED OF GUSION FUCKIN PAXLEY!!!" She told herself.

Lesley got out of bed and did her usual morning routines. She was staring blankly at the walls of her shower room while the warm water from the shower pours all over her body.

"what the hell was that dream all about..." she asked herself.

After she was done with her morning routines, she went off to school alone because she wouldn't want Harley to notice that something is bothering or bugging her.
