When they reached the Paxley mansion, the Lady of the house Paxley immediately went to see his son. She was devastated to see his son in such a state.

What happened to him!!! She screamed.

This was the first time that she saw his son injured and unconscious.

GOSSEN WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SON! She shouted at her husband.

I just had to teach him a lesson, never defy me. His husband answered coldly.

Lock him in the basement. Put him in the second to the last cell on the left side. He commanded his servants.

BASEMENT??? PRISON????? YOU'RE PUTTING YOUR SON THERE??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? His wife started shouting. She knew the cell her husband mentioned was equipped with a spell that prevents a prisoner from using their magical abilities.

.....and yet, she cannot do anything because she knows it will only put more disadvantage to his son.

His wife did not say any more words. She walked out and followed their servants to the basement where Gusion would be locked up.

WHERE IS GREY?! He asked one of their female servants.

At the training grounds, sire.

He went directly to the training grounds to confront Grey because one of their servants spilled they had seen Grey on the said property a few days ago.

Upon reaching the grounds, Grey immediately gave his courtesies to his father. But his father flickered to his back and greeted him with a lash of magical chain on his back instead. You lying bastard.

Their father, a Paxley and a powerful mage can generate any weapon he likes using just one hand.

Grey fell on his back, arching, rolling on the grass, and trying to endure the pain. He wanted to understand why he got that treatment and accusation.

Stand up! Answer me!

Grey managed to kneel. Father, I don't underst--

He punched Grey in the face and kicked his stomach. Then shouted at him You always cover up your useless brother! Is it that hard to tell me the truth? Where he hid himself? Tell me, Grey! Tell me!

Grey fell on his face. His father started walking around him. You knew where they were hiding, and you had to wait for Dimitri to find them himself?? Then he kicked Grey's hips. Tell me Grey, you do know who was with him, right?

He didn't answer the question. Why would I tell you if I know damn right the shit you're going do with them?

Gossen Paxley grabbed Grey by his collar and punched him again, as expected, you're just as useless as your brother. Then pushed and left Grey lying on the ground.

Grey coughed a small amount of blood and managed to stand up. He spat the blood on the grass, at the very least I supported him with what he wanted to do with his life and I didn't force him into something that he never agreed to in the first place.

His father stopped walking, If you were in my position, you'd probably do the same thing. Then vanished into the air.
