26: Practical Test

"WELCOME TO LAND OF DAWN GOVERNMENT QUALIFYING EXAM."

The announcer excitedly said. It has been 3 months since the foundation event in the Moonton University and the aspiring students from their institution couldn't be more anxious in the practical exam.

Just like the agreed schedule, the practical test will take place a week before the finals and the event is currently happening at the very same Arena where the Moonton U held its collegiate tournament.

Lesley arrived in the arena just in time and registered her name under their university name making her land in the 3rd batch of examinees.

"Oh, Gusion just arrived, too. I wonder where he is?" She thought since Gusion;s name is listed before Lesley's.

"Oooohhhh.... Natalia and Fanny were on the first and 2nd batch. They didn't want to fight one another so they registered under different time schedules. Street smart bitches." Lesley thought as she looked at the names listed under Moonton U.

There are almost a thousand students that are done in taking the test and still waiting for their turn in the arena scheduled to take the practical test that made her feel a little bit unease. "I can do this." she kept on repeating the words inside her head to build up her confidence. 

Then she went to her classmates in the advance course as they listen to the instructions.

"The exam will be a survival one. There are 99 aspirants per batch. A physical type of student, magic, and tank. You will be grouped into three."

Her eyes was closed while listening to the announcer, "mother... father... guide me... please..."

Since it was a survival type of exam, they will be randomly teamed up with random students from other college and university.

"There are odds that you will be grouped with a schoolmate or with a completely random student from other institutions."

A few moments later, all the physical students were all called up to pick a piece of paper that was folded several times from magic type students.

"All the Physical students will be your Captain. You have to follow and listen to them at all cost, most specially if your cap is already a license holder and works for the defense sector or any government institution."

"Wow... such pressure." Lesley thought as she listened to the instructions and reminders.

Gusion was watching Lesley from the assembly area, praying that he'd end up in the same team with her. "please be in the same team with me... please....."

As Lesley walked closer to the draft pick area, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she picked the random folded papers from the magic. "please be a schoolmate..... please be a schoolmate....."

"Alright, let's check who your teammates are! Open the names from the magic now, please?"

Lesley unfolds the paper and felt an instant relief when she saw the photo and the name of her magic type teammate.
