Rucha Pov:
Avantee and aditi went to their respective bedrooms and i am pretty are both asleep by now, but here I am , not able to sleep, manas has not come from his bathroom yet, this is why you don't eat so much spicy food.
I decided to get out of my bedroom and take a stroll around the hotel
With each step, i takes in the hotel, its elegant architecture stands tall against the backdrop of beautiful gardens.
The fragrance of flowers fills the air, mingling with the soothing sounds of fountains.
With a serene smile, i wander, exploring hidden corners and admiring the intricate details that make this place so stunning
As I was walking and looking around i suddenly felt a hand on my back and I jumped from my trance
I was startled, it was manas
" What are you doing here" i ask
" I could ask you the same question" he said with the slightest smile
" I could not sleep, I kept thinking about this place, it's so beautiful"
"Indeed it is" he said but his eyes did not leave mine, he said it while looking at me
my cheeks turned a embarassing shade of red
" if you like it so much, i'll buy it" he said
I laughed so loudly that I am pretty sure the entire hotel heard it
" Ya sure, please do the honour of buying this place" I said sarcastically
"You do not believe me, i see" He said with a slight tint of pride
I mean he is rich and all but he can't BUY this place
Right?
" what are other places you would want to visit?" I asked, trying to hold a conversation
" umm, i can't think of places but I do want to eat street food once"
" YOU HAVE NEVER EATEN STREET FOOD?, you spoiled rich brat" I said jokingly but I was still shocked
He chuckled
" My parents never let me out of their little cage, I was limited to only eating, dressing, thinking, being what they wanted me to be, that's all i will ever be"
I could see his beautiful smile fading away
" You can still be whatever you want, manas"
this is the first time I had said his name, and the moment just felt weird, magical.
he looked at me, his eyes seemed less harsh, and more kind and gentle
he was a totally different person outside of his office.
