Chapter 5

The Yule ball was tonight. Kiara never left her room since the night of her fall out with Theodore.

Pansy had collected Kiara's dress for her, even though she never got the chance to find a date, Pansy forced her to go.

"Can you please tell her I'm sorry!" Theodore begged Pansy

"Fine I will! But she still doesn't want to see you" Pansy assured him, turning her nose up at him.

"She has to at some point, he's her brother" Goyle snickered

"For now she doesn't though!" Pansy snapped. "I'm going to get ready. You boys better head off too!" She got up off the sofa, leaving the boys and headed up stairs to get ready with Kiara.

Kiara had a beautiful sleeveless, blush pink silk dress with an opened slit on her right leg. The dress flowed down to the floor. She left her hair down, with small waves through the bottom. She put on a beautiful silver necklace with a matching bracelet. Her deep blue sea eyes popping with the makeup Pansy had applied on her.

She came out of the bathroom to see Pansy in an amazing emerald green dress, similar to hers. "You're going to make my brother regret not asking you" Kiara smiled, looking Pansy up and down.

Pansy giggled "you think Blaise will like it?" She questioned, blushing slightly.

"Are you blushing!" Kiara teased, poking at Pansy

"Maybe" Pansy covered her face and giggled.

"Let's go! Before we are late. Blaise will be waiting for you" Kiara giggled nudging Pansy towards the door.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you! Your brother was trying to apologise again!" Pansy spat out as Kiara was pushing her out the door.

"Of course he was" kiara rolled her eyes.

"I'm so nervous!!" Pansy squealed as they got closer the great hall.

"You'll be fine! Don't worry!" Kiara giggled

"They said they'd wait at the bottom of the stairs for us" Pansy said before they reached the top of the stairs.

"They!? Who's they?" Kiara questioned

"Just don't hate me please. Your brother didn't want you going stag" Pansy muttered before turning around the corner, looking down towards Blaise.

"What are you.." Kiara turned to see Mattheo standing next to Blaise. "You've got to be kidding me" kiara rolled her eyes, as pansy threaded her arm around hers.

Blaise looked up. "Wow" he mumbled causing Mattheo to look around, a slow smirk appearing across his face in amazement as he looked at Kiara. His eyes glowing from her beauty as she walked down with Pansy.

Blaise walked over, taking Pansy's arm. "You look amazing" he smiled.

Pansy turned around "be nice" she mouthed to Kiara before leaving her alone with Mattheo.

Mattheo cleared his throat, snapping back to reality. "Shall we" he held his arm out for Kiara to thread hers through.

Kiara placed her arm through his after a few second's of hesitation. "Surprised my brother is letting you take me" Kiara mumbled as they made their way to the great hall.

"He trusts me and didn't want you going alone and I happened to be available" he leaned to whisper into her ear.

Kiara rolled her eyes. Everyone stared as they both entered through the doorway and down to the dance floor.
