Chapter 38

Classes had began. Mattheo would come by every night, feeling unwelcome in his own home. Pansy promised to not tell anyone about his visits.

A week had passed and classes weren't going too great. Greyback enjoyed torturing students who misbehaved or failed at answering a question correctly but mostly tortured them for his own amusement.

Things had begun to get strict. Professors fearing for their own safety, it was nothing like the year of Umbridge. It was worse. If that was even possible.

Students from different houses could no longer associate with one another. Slytherin's being outcasted the most, being left in the dark from other students who had began to stick together.

Kiara hated it. All she wanted to do was go home, thinking she'd be better off with her abusive father, and her twin brother who helped kidnap her.

Kiara made her way through the corridors, the dark and gloom hallways freaking her out slightly.

"Psst" a slight voice hissed. "Psst"

Kiara looked around to see long ginger hair poking around the corner. She screwed her eyes, trying to figure out who it was.

"G..Ginny?" She whispered in a questionable tone.

Ginny grabbed onto Kiara's arm, pulling her into a room, where others were sat waiting.

Seamus, Dean and Luna.

"What's going on?" Kiara questioned as she looked around at them, landing her eyes onto Ginny standing beside her.

"We wanted to ask the same thing" Seamus smugly spoke.

"What Seamus is trying to ask is do you know anything about what could be coming?" Ginny added.

Kiara looked at them in confusion. "How am I supposed to know? Do you guys think I'm one of them?" She questioned hastily.

She pulled her sleeves up, showing her forearms. "Because I'm not!" She snapped.

"Of course you're not" Luna kindly smiled.

"She must know something! She must know some sort of plans! Her brother is one of them! Her boyfriend is literally his son!" Seamus stood up from his chair, blurting out.

"Seamus!" Dean stood up, grabbing onto him. "Chill"

"How do you even know that my brother is one of them!" Kiara snapped

"Oh please" Seamus rolled his eyes. "He's not here is he! You two never leave each other's sides!"

"I'm done with this!" Kiara scoffed and headed towards the door, before she was obstructed by Ginny.

Ginny looked down at Kiara, only being an inch taller, looking straight into her eyes.

"If she says she doesn't know, then she doesn't know" Ginny half smiled, stepping away to allow Kiara to leave.

Kiara continued her way towards the door, stopping in the doorway as she opened it. She turned her head to look back at them. "If I knew, I'd tell you"

"Kie" a familiar voice mumbled.

Kiara turned around, a smile across her face as she ran towards him and throwing her arms around his neck.
