Chapter 30

Students muttered throughout the halls.

Mattheo was heading to class with Theodore. Students cowering away at the sight of him, but he didn't take much notice, being used to some of them doing that anyways for being the son of Voldemort.

"Psycho" a girl mutters under her breath.

"Shh. He'll kill you if he hears you" a girl whispers, as they giggle slightly.

He ignores them, overhearing their conversation. They got closer to class when a group of Gryffindor's waiting outside.

"Hey killer" the Gryffindor chuckle between each other.

"Nobody likes you Riddle! Not even Kiara!" Cormac announces.

Mattheo freezing on the spot, trying to hold his rage in. He takes a deep breath in and snaps his head towards him, storming towards over and pinning him up against a wall.

"Coming from the guy who assaulted her!" He spits in his face.

Cormac shivers in slight fear. "Who couldn't take no as an answer! I hope Granger knows how much of a pig you are!" Mattheo pushes him harder against the wall.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Theodore snaps, pushing himself into the middle of them.

"Nothing" Mattheo mumbles under his breath, letting go of Cormac. He turns around to see Kiara standing with Astoria in the distance, watching.

Kiara takes a small gulp of air before passing by them without even a glance. Mattheo watching her as she passes.

"Like I said! Even she doesn't like you" Cormac laughs. Mattheo swings his whole body around, punching him to the floor.

"Mr Riddle!" Professor Snape slowly announces himself, looking down at him with disappointment.

Mattheo scoffs, brushing past Professor Snape, storming off.

"You can find him... after class... Mr Nott" Professor Snape grabs onto Theodore, pushing him into the classroom.

"He's so heartless" whispers surrounded the classroom as the Gryffindor's entered.

Kiara looks towards Theodore sat by himself. She screws her face up in confusion, only receiving an eye roll from him.

The day was over. Mattheo had skipped all of his classes, no one knew where he was. Kiara hated him for going after Dean and punching Seamus for no reason at all, but she was worried.

"Where you off too?" Theodore mumbled, cigarette hanging from his mouth.

"A walk" Kiara replies.

"Be ready for 7" Blaise announces from behind Theodore as he approaches the sofa.

"Of course" she smiles before exiting the main doors.

Kiara roamed the halls, looking for Mattheo. She searched everywhere she could think of. Her search took outside, heading towards the black lake.

It was starting to get late and she still had to get ready for Slughorn's Party. She gave up, turning back towards the castle, hating the fact she couldn't find him but not wanting to let Blaise down. If only she knew he was only a few feet away, around the corner.

"You look lovely" Blaise smiled, holding his arm out for Kiara to hold.

"Thank you" Kiara smiled, threading her arm through his.
