Author's Note: Sorry for such a late update! I was pretty busy this week and didn't have much time to write. Also, this chapter is pretty short, so sorry for that too!

It was the best sex Lacey had ever had.

She had heard Nicky was good, but God, she had not been expecting that at all.

That was what Lacey was thinking about as they walked back to the dorms, filling into the crowd of women coming back from breakfast.

But shouting broke her out of her thoughts as she approached her dorms, and she sped up her pace when she got closer.

When she entered the dorm, she saw all the inmates standing outside their cubes orderly.

This can't be good.

Then she saw the guards. Searching her and Nicky's cube.

She stopped in her tracks, not daring to get closer to the guards. Lacey heard Nicky's breath catch in her throat behind her, and she stopped next to Lacey.

The guards hadn't noticed them, but some of the inmates had, although none of them said anything.

When Lacey heard Nicky curse quietly next to her, it finally hit her.

The heroin.

How could they be so stupid?

Lacey didn't even remember putting it anywhere, which meant it had probably been lying in the middle of their cube when it had been found, dropped carelessly onto the floor when she had gotten so caught up in Nicky.

She cursed herself under her breath, knowing she was going to be punished. She'd probably be sent to MAX, never to be seen again by any of her friends. No more Nicky, or Boo, or Piper.

Her sentence would be extended, and it would be even longer before she could finally see Tanner or any of her friends.

She was such an idiot. What was she thinking?

Actually, she knew what she had been thinking. She had been thinking about how amazing Nicky's lips had felt against hers, and she had been dumb enough to let herself forget about something so important.

Time moved in slow motion as the guards turned to face her, and of course it had to be the guard who had groped her.

He sneered when his eyes landed on her, and began slowly walking towards her.

She didn't bother moving away from him, and neither did Nicky. They both knew it was pointless.

Mendez stopped in front of her, smirking. "Inmate Locke," he drawled, dangling the heroin baggy in front of her face. "Care to share why this was lying on the floor of your cube?"

He didn't even turn to Nicky who was standing next to her. The baggy must've been on Lacey's side.

Lacey didn't respond. She stood facing him and crossed her arms.

Mendez stared at her expectantly, waiting for an answer. She still refused to give him one, so Caputo walked over and stood next to him."Take her to the SHU."

Her eyes widened and she breathed out a sigh of relief.

SHU?

That's all?

She was expecting to be sent to MAX, but SHU was a much better outcome.

Nicky's eyes widened and she opened her mouth to protest as they started cuffing Lacey, but she shook her head at Nicky.

She knew Nicky wanted to say that it wasn't actually her heroin, but Lacey knew that if they figured out it was Nicky, Nicky would be sent away to MAX. They were only sending Lacey to SHU because they were giving her special treatment, but Nicky wouldn't get the same. Lacey may as well just take the fall for it.

They started dragging her away, and Nicky did try to say something. "But–" she started, but Lacey kicked her shin, cutting her off. She shook her head more vigorously this time, and Nicky seemed to get the message, clamping her mouth shut.

As they pulled her out of the room, everyone watched silently, their eyes wide in surprise. None of them had expected Lacey to be the kind to be sneaking heroin around.

Some were eyeing Nicky though, having figured out that the heroin likely belonged to Lacey's junky-roommate.

She kept her eyes on the ground as they yanked her through the halls, gritting her teeth to stop from yelping every time the sharp edge of the handcuffs dug into her wrists.

It was such a weird feeling to be the one in handcuffs. She had been on the other side of this so many times as an FBI agent, and cursed herself for never thinking about how much the damn cuffs hurt.

She vowed to herself if the FBI ever let her back, which was unlikely, that she would be much gentler when arresting people.

The hallways were mostly quiet, and Lacey knew she was lucky. Breakfast had just ended, so most people were either in their dorms getting ready for work, or waiting in the shower lines. She didn't want to have to bear the look on everyone's faces when they saw her being dragged away. The people in the dorms were bad enough.

After the five minute van ride down the hill, they marched her down the SHU hallway.

It was lined with thick red doors, each complete with a slit for putting food through and a window that could be slid shut.

Women banged on the doors from inside their cells, yelling and cursing. The sounds echoed through the hallway. She was taken to the end of the hallway, and a guard opened the last door.

The bald guard who had been holding her wrists uncuffed her, before shoving her into the cell. Lacey stumbled, catching her balance as the door was slid shut with a bang.

She sighed and stood still, listening to the sounds of the footsteps retreating, leaving her all alone with the screaming and sobbing of the other prisoners.
