24 - A Warning Ignored

When Adelaide asked Noah for a favor, my heart skipped a beat. The way she spoke, with a hint of something I couldn't quite place, made my skin crawl. And as Noah's brow furrowed in confusion at her request, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this than met the eye.
