I pick up Annika into my arms, she fell asleep on our way home.
She lets out a little sigh and snuggles into the crook of my neck.
She makes it so hard to be mad at her, I set her down on the couch and her eyes fluttered open.
"Oh we're home" she yawns softly and sits up.
I kneel down in front of her and a surprised look crossed her face.
"Did you buy information from Zain" I ask softly.
Her eyes widened and lips parted slightly, "Yes" she whispers.
"What was it about" I ask holding her hands.
It was about my mother and brother" her chin quivers.
"Why didn't you tell me" I keep my voice steady.
"I was going to but then a lot happened and I forgot I wasn't going to hide it from you" she says tears forming in her eyes.
I gather her into my arms and sit on the couch while she straddles my lap.
"Shuu baby why are you crying" I whisper pressing soft kisses on her shoulder.
"You're not mad at me" she sucks in a breath.
"Of course not baby" I say cupping her cheeks.
"Won't you ask me what the information was" she asks.
"No you'll tell me when you want too but I'm your husband Annika don't ever think i wouldn't stand with you even when you're wrong I'll always be your safe place like you're mine" I say caressing her cheeks.
"I love you" She smiles kissing my cheek.
"And i love you" I say pressing my lips against her.
Before things got heated I hear Kiara scream "And we love you both"
We pull apart in shock, where did she come from, I turn my head towards the elevator door and see not only Kiara but the rest of group here also.
"What are you guys doing here leave me alone with my wife" I groaned earning a soft slap from Annika on my chest.
"Come on uncle we are not going to steal your wife" Avni mocked.
"As if you can" I smirk tightening my arms around Annika who chuckles.
"Come on Bhai let's do a sleepover look we also brought food" Kiara whines holding up two bags of food.
"No go home" I say.
"Don't be rude aryan come in guys get settled I'll just go change" Annika says getting up from my lap.
