Part 9

James watches Pierre from a far

It's been two weeks since I've been back, I couldn't go on the Alexander compound to see the twins without someone recognizing me, so I would wait for Pierre to leave the family compound, he didn't do much that he didn't normally do after driving the boys to school. But I noticed three times a week he would have his gym bag with him, so I followed him he went to the Chrome apartments, that's where Robert Taylor lives, the man my husband is sleeping with.

I wanted to hurt the guy bad, or make him disappear but that wouldn't help me, because once Pierre finds out I'm back he'll know it was me who did it. I sat in front of the apartment complex for hours until a police car pulled up and they got out, they walked up to the car, one of them asked me for my license, he said they got a complaint about a strange car parked out here.

I made sure I gave them my license and not Cecil's who's name I have been using since I got back, I was told to step out of the car, as I did Pierre drove out of the parking lot, he looked me dead in the face, the officer asked me why I been parked out here so long. Before I could say anything, the other one came back after running my license and said my name, the other cop who asked me why I was here looked at me and said he knows me. I didn't recognize him but with losing my memory there's a lot I don't remember, he said sorry to have bothered me he knows what I do he told the other cop it's okay, he gave me back my license and they got in their car and drove away.

 I got in my car and drove away too, I looked at the time, Pierre must be going to pick up the kids, so I drove to the school, I got there and parked on the street, and I could see Pierre's car parked out front. I got out of my car and stood on the sidewalk and watched, the kids started coming out of the school, Pierre greeted the twins, and they got in the car and drove away.

I watched them pull out of the parking lot, again Pierre looked me dead in the face, I got in my car and drove away, my boys looked so happy, sooner or later I have to show myself to them.

As I'm driving, I noticed that same man who was with the police across from Robert's apartment was standing across the street from the boy's school, I wonder if grandfather has him watching me in case James came back. I was going to call grandfather, but I decided to go to the Alexander building and see him, and the boys can see him too, since he just got back from Dubai last night.

We got to the Alexander building and parked the car, I saw that same car the guy was driving, but he drove off, we went inside and we went straight to grandfathers office, I asked the receptionist can we go in she said sure grandfather is with my uncle Reese, they just finished a meeting, she said hello to the twins, and they spoke back and we went in.

 I knocked on the door and we went in, grandfather said look who came to see him, the twins ran to him, and I spoke to Uncle Reese, he said I look puzzled, I told him I am, someone is following me, I was wondering if grandfather has a man watching me.

Grandfather told the twins to help themselves to two pieces of candy, he told me he doesn't have anyone watching me, I told them what I saw. Uncle said did I think it could've been you know who as he looked over at the twins, I said it could've been but why doesn't he just tell me he's back and be a man and see those two.

Reese said, if it was him at the beach house he saw Robert, who knows what went through his head if he saw us together, plus he doesn't know that we're divorced. Grandfather said as of now I'll have a bodyguard on me at all times, he doesn't know what might be going through his head if it is James. I told him I think it could be you know who, but I'm going to ask Robert about any jealous ex- men that might be following me too.
