I said goodnight to the boys, I went outside and got in my car, I sat there thinking do I really want to do this, I should be in the house having dinner with my sons, I'm the only father they have. I called Savannah, she said I better not be calling to tell her I changed my mind, not only do I need this night but so does she.

I heard what she said and told her I'm not calling to cancel I'm just calling to let her know I'm on my way, she said oh well come on she's ready, Devon's mom already took the baby to her house, so the night is ours. I told her give me fifteen minutes and I'll be there she said make it ten and hung up.

Looks like I have no choice but to do this, I know I won't have a goodtime, but I'll do it for Savannah, I got to her house in the ten minutes like she said, before I could call her Savannah came out and got in the car she said I look cute and I'm going to have fun if it kills me, we both started laughing. I told her she knows me just as well as James does, she said we're not going to talk about my ex.

We got to Robins Savannah said the place is packed, but we have a reservation for dinner, so we'll be fine, I parked the car and we walked to the door, Savannah said we have a reservation for Michaels, we were let in and taken to the restaurant. Savannah made it clear we're going to eat and after that go on the other side and get our dance on, we were taken to our table, the waiter asked could he start us out with cocktails, Savannah said she'll have a white wine, I said water for me, she said I'll have the same wine won't kill me.

The waiter smiled at us and said two white wines, and walked away, Savannah said like she said I'm going to live and have fun, like I did before I got with you know who. I told her I thought we weren't going to talk about him, she said I'm right, the waiter brought our wine, and he took our order, Savannah ordered steak and I did the same I told the waiter to make sure it's well done.

We had small talk my mind was on the boys we haven't been apart since Chandler got with us, Savannah said I better not be thinking about you know who, I told her no I was thinking about the boys, she said there fine, now after dinner we're going to have fun.

I will admit James was my calm before and after the storms of life, but I have to do things on my own and be there for my boys. I did tell Savannah that Reese is looking for James again, she asked me did I ask him to do that, I told her no he thinks the kids needs closure, she said so do I.

Our food came and we ate and talked about old times before there was James or Devon in our lives, I said we did have some wild times back then, but we've grown up since then.

After dinner we went on the other side and the place was jumping, do they still say that it's been a while since I've been out, we got a table and Savannah ordered drinks the music was on point shit do they still say that too.

This dude kept staring at us, he started walking towards our table, I said to myself here comes the bullshit line that so many dudes use, the dude came over to our table he said dance with him. I said no thanks, the dude asked Savannah do I speak for her because he was asking her. Before Savannah could say anything, he walked away, Van said he's cute but she's a married woman now. Let's finish our drinks and dance, the dude was cute to bad he's straight, we finished our drinks and went out on the dance floor, I actually started to have fun, I wasn't thinking about James, and I felt kind of guilty not thinking about the kids, but it's only dancing.

After about five songs Savannah said she had to pee, and so did I, we went to the rest room, after I finished and washed my hands I walked out and bumped into the dude that wanted to dance with Savannah, I apologized and said I didn't mean to block him from dancing with Savannah, he said so that's her name. But actually, he just asked her to dance so he could find out about me, he saw me from across the room and thought I was the most beautiful man he's ever seen, and he's gay he apologizes if I'm not gay.

I told him I'm gay, he asked me to dance, I said I don't know he asked me do I have someone special in my life, I told him yes but not the way he thinks, I have two sons, I'm divorced. He said sorry for my divorce, but I have two sons that he's sure I'm proud of, I said yes, I am, by the way I'm Pierre, he said Robert Taylor, I said like the actor, he said yes not many people know about him his mom liked old moves and their last name is Taylor, so she named him after the actor.

We ended up dancing, I saw Savannah smiling at us, she'll make more of this than it is, we danced a couple of dances and went back to the table, Robert asked Savannah would she like to dance, she said sure. Before she walked away, I pulled her to the side, and I told her not to tell him shit about me, if he wants to know he can ask me, they walked on the dance floor, and I got another drink.

I watched them dancing, damn Robert is fine, but I'm not ready for anything, was it because I really haven't moved on from James, I do wonder if he's alright. They came back, Savannah said she has to go to the rest room again and walked away, Robert gave me his card and said call him some time, he has to get going tell Savannah good night for him and he left. I looked at the card it said Robert Taylor esquire attorney at law, I put it in my pocket.

While leaving the rest room I ran into Robert, he said everything I told him about Pierre is true, he's sure Pierre will call him, I told him don't try and get him in bed to soon he needs more than sex right now. And he can never tell Pierre I set him them up to meet, he said he won't say anything and he's looking forward to getting to know Pierre, he walked away. One day I'll tell Pierre I found Robert on a dating app, I'm sure my friend will like Robert.

I walked back to the table, Pierre said Robert left, and said to tell me good night, I told him a bitch is tired it's been a while since I stayed up after one, Pierre said we can go now and same for him, we left, and Pierre dropped me off I told him I'll call him in the morning, he watched me walk into the house and he drove away. I called Mr. Alexander and told him everything worked out just like we planned it, I hung up.

After dropping Van off I went home, I checked on the boys they were sound asleep, grandfather came into the room he said they're just fine, he asked me how my night went, I told him fine and I had fun he said good, he said good night and left the room. I went to my room and got undressed and got in bed, I did smile it's been a while that a guy found me interesting, I held my pillow like I did every night, maybe I can get over James but I'm not putting anything into Robert it's still too soon for me.

I got out of bed and got Roberts card out of my pants pocket, I got back in bed I started to call him, but I thought about it and just went to bed.

The next morning I'm awaken by the twins jumping on my bed saying daddy get up, I can't sleep all day. I looked at the time it's after two o'clock in the afternoon, shit it wasn't morning but the afternoon, I never sleep this late.

Grandfather came into the room he told the twins not to wake me, I told him it's fine, I told the twins let me shower and get dressed and I'll take them over to see Liz, PJ said they already went Manny took them to see her and they got their cake.

I told them okay, I'll still shower, and I'll put my trunks on and join them for a swim, Chan asked can they have cake too, I said sure we can, grandfather took them out of the room, and I laid there for a minute. I started thinking about Robert and I felt myself growing under the blanket, I'm just horny that's all.

I got out of bed and damn I was hard as a brick, I went into my bathroom and turned on the shower and looked at myself in the mirror, damn my ass is fat and I could use some dick, I got into the shower and washed my body and played with myself, until I heard a knock on the door and Savannah said what am I doing in here beating my meat, hurry up and finish they're waiting for me outside.

Damn she didn't tell me she was coming over here, I finished my shower sex and stepped out and got dried off, I brushed my teeth and walked out into the bedroom and got some trunks. I went downstairs from my balcony and walked down to the pool, Savannah had little Devon with her, and the boys were in the small pool playing.

Savannah said she's been calling me all morning, so she came over to see was I still alive, and if I give Robert the cakes, I wouldn't have to be in the shower touching myself. I told her I don't even know that man to be thinking about having sex with him, I got up and played with my boys, I will admit Robert is a very handsome guy, but he's not James, shit why did I say that.

I'm divorced from James and I'm moving on, and it's too soon for me to think about another man, and how will I explain it to the twins when they're hoping James will come back.
