(Eleven years later) Am I my father's child.
(James)
It's been eleven years, Pie and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary, Mayo Angelo said love recognizes no barriers, it jumps hurdles, leaps fence and penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope. Since Pierre took me back, I've kept my promise, I love him so much, we were also celebrating that Ekim let Bash out of the group, Bash and I have gotten even closer, the family goes up to Canada to see him as much as we can, and the twins have spent the last ten summers with him. Speaking of the twins there seventeen now and soon will be graduating high school. Chandler is a straight A student; PJ just made the grades to graduate. Chandler hasn't come out to us yet, but PJ already told us about his sexuality, that's fine no matter what we'll love him.
PJ goes through females like he changes his underwear, I told him just don't make us grandfathers, I thought Chandler would be our problem child since he was raised for five years with the Hollens, they spoiled him, but it turned out to be PJ. We were always going up to the school about something.
I had to take his car away from him for a month until he got his shit together, the boys went on a trip to Washington DC, Chandler was talking about one of the kids who was missing and as far as we know he hasn't been found yet, PJ told Chandler to stop talking about that kid.
Chandler kind of came out to us when he said that kid was someone special to him, and PJ acted like he doesn't care, and he knows how much that kid meant to him. Now that I think about it every time Chandler had a friend over something happened to him, one almost drowned in the swimming pool, and one of the kids got into a bad car accident after leaving here, I was beginning to wonder if PJ knows anything about that.
Stan went to pick Bash up from the airport he said he wouldn't miss seeing the twins graduate, Liz came into the room all dressed up, I told her the graduation isn't until Friday why is she so dressed up now, she said she has a date, and walked out of the room. PJ said it's about time she got some, I told him just because he's seven teen he's still not grown around here, watch his mouth. He said he was just happy for Liz he didn't mean anything by it, and can he have his keys Pie told him he can use his car for his date. Pie told me he did say that I had to be sure, PJ will turn your words around, I told him there on my dresser and don't be out too late, and we don't want any calls about getting him out of jail.
He said he's not getting into any trouble, he left the room, I asked Chandler what about him any plans for tonight, he said no he'll just wait for Bash to come he needs to talk to him; I told him he can talk to us. Chandler said it's just talking to catch up that's all, I told him if he needs to talk about anything he knows we're here for him, he said he knows that. I was trying to see if he was ready to come out to us, but when he's ready he will. Bash came in the door, Chandler jumped up and greeted him, he said he has so much to tell him let them go to the guesthouse.
Pie told him at least let his uncle say hello to us, Bash spoke to us, he asked where's PJ, I told him he's upstairs, Chandler said now can they go, PJ came down and said sup uncle, Bash said he's gotten so tall, they hugged, and PJ said he's out and he knows don't be out too late he left.
Chandler took Bash's bags, and they went to the guesthouse, I said they grow up so fast soon they'll be leaving for college, Pie said Chandler yes, he doesn't know about PJ he can't stick with one thing. I said either college or the military, he's going to do something other than being a spoiled rich kid, bae said do I think sometimes I'm too hard on PJ, I told him no if we give that boy an inch, he'll damn sure take a mile. Our boys maybe twins, but there damn sure aren't a like Chandler we can trust, PJ we never know what he's up to, Pie said he wonders if Chandler is talking to Bash about coming out to us.
