(The man in the club and now at the park) part 2 of 2
Yesterday I had words with Savannah about telling the boys that Robert would be coming around to play with them, I told her we're just having dinner not dating, don't tell them stuff like that, she said fine I should be the one to tell them. I told her that's not going to happen. She told me just enjoy my dinner, maybe I'll get some dick for dessert, she hung up. Savannah is my best friend, but sometimes she gets on my last nerve.
After shaking Savannah off my mind, I spent the day with the boys, just to let them know there the most important people in my life, later I said goodbye to them and headed to Robins, it didn't take me long to get there, I parked my car and said to myself here goes as I got out of the car. I walked in and said I have a reservation for Pierre Alexander, the Maitre'd took me to my table, a waiter came to the table and said he's Sidney he'll be my waiter, can he start me off with a cocktail, I told him no I'm waiting for someone, I'll just wait he said very good and walked away.
I looked at the time it's six fifty-five, I hope Robert isn't on color peoples time, five minutes later Robert was brought to my table, damn he was looking fine as hell. I said he's right on time, he gave me a white rose, he said he doesn't like being late for anything, he told me I look great, he asked about the boys. I told him their fine, thanks for asking and thanks for the rose how did he know I liked white roses, he said he called a few florist shops and found out, I smiled that he went through all that trouble to find that out.
The waiter came back to the table and asked are we ready for cocktails, Robert said he'll have red wine, I said I'll have the same and we'll be ready to order when he comes back. I asked Robert how his day was, he said he spent the day with his niece and nephew his older brother has two kids. He's the baby of the family out of three boys, and he's the only gay one.
I did ask him he does know who my family is, right, he said he knows, and he's not interested in me because of that, I told him that's good to hear, the waiter came back with our wine, and we ordered. We talked and I found out we have a lot in common, Robert was the party boy in his family like I was, he was once engaged but the guy just wanted him for his family's money, Robert said he uses his mother's maiden name his father is John Wilcox, I said I heard of him as in Wilcox publishing, he said yes among other things, but he makes his own money.
Robert asked me what I am doing tomorrow morning, I told him I have no plans why, he said come to the gym with him, I said wow does my body look that bad that I need to go to the gym, he said it looks like I work out and my body is fine. I asked him where and what time, Robert said around seven, and he works out at his apartment complex, they have a full gym he'll text me his address.
I told him cool, and I do workout we have a full gym at the house, we finished dinner I asked Robert would he like dessert, he smiled and said no, but maybe next time we have dinner, I said he's so sure we'll see each other again, he said we are meeting tomorrow morning. I said he's got me there; we talked some more it was a very pleasant evening damn Robert is so fine.
I said thanks again for the rose, he said it was his pleasure to do it, I called for the check and signed for it, and we left, Robert asked me would I like to take a walk before calling it a night, I said sure, so we walked and talked. After an hour we walked back to Robins and Robert walked me to my car, he texted me his address I told him I know where he lives, I had an apartment there years ago, he said he'll see me in the morning and I watched him walk to his car, and I drove off.
I got home, and checked on the boys they were asleep, I went to my room and showered and got in bed, I set my alarm clock for six a.m., I texted Robert and said thanks for a great evening, he responded back he enjoyed my company he'll see me in the morning and sense I paid for dinner after we work out breakfast is on him, I said deal.
