Three months later.

We set our wedding date, and mother kept changing things, James wanted to just go down to city hall and get it over with, after all we had the wedding license. I told him if we did that the twins would be disappointed, after all they're going to be a part of the wedding ceremony.

Bae said for them he'll go along with all the plans my mother has for our wedding, Liz came into the room and told us mother had her pick out a cake for us, James looked at me and said am I sure I don't want to do it his way. I told him for now let's just go with the flow, but we'll see later.

Savannah walked into the room, Liz said she didn't hear the doorbell ring, she doesn't just walk into people's houses she could get shot around here. Vannah told her she's family she doesn't need to ring the doorbell, Liz told her funny she doesn't look like me or James so how is she family.

Vannah told me to get my help straight, she doesn't have time for her, before Liz could say anything James told her to walk to the kitchen with him, he's hungry, I told Vannah please don't start with Liz, we want to keep things calm after all we only have two weeks before our wedding.  Vannah said that's different she didn't kill anyone, I told her think about what she said remember I know her past. Vannah told me don't hold what she did in the past with now, I told her don't be a hypocrite it's okay for her but not for James who the fuck is she.

Damn Pierre don't cuss me out over a man, I've been your friend before James ever came into your life, he said if I want to remain his friend don't put his man down, he's not naive about James's past just like he doesn't hold my past against me. I told him that's fair enough, I won't say anything else about James, he asked me what brought this on, I never talked against James before.

Mommy sat down, and Liz came into the room, they started talking about the wedding, mommy told Liz she's going to pay for her dress after all she's a part of this family not like someone else who pushes her way in, that remark was meant for Vannah. Mommy asked where her grandchildren are, I told her there with Manny they'll be home later, and she asked where her killer son in law is. Mommy knows what James did for the family, she's just joking she said the only killing he better be doing is in my hole, she and Liz high fived each other. Mommy won't admit it, but she and Savannah have that in common talking about sex.

I walked into the living room and Liz and Maria stared at me, before I could speak to Maria, Liz said I'm not wearing any underwear under my little running shorts, I said hello to Maria.

James told him we're getting married again, he congratulated us and said nice to see him again, he walked away, James said he doesn't remember him at all. The guy was still staring at us, I hope he's not going to start any shit with us, one thing I did notice was James picking up that knife as if he were in danger.

 Damn, I hope Vannah wasn't right about people changing, James still sees his therapist, I hope he tells her about the knife thing, we finished lunch and took a walk in the park, James kept looking at the bushes, I told him to get it out of his head, we're not going in the bushes to have sex. He took my hand and said we minus well have ice cream, that will cool him off, I will be glad when our wedding night comes, I already want some dick, but it's about control.
