Henry keeps to the shadows, on the edge of the woods that line the battlefield. From the top of his horse, he can see a priest being brought to the front of the line of Logan's men and knows what's about to happen, his heart racing at the thought.
He looks back to Josh, whose focus is on that line, waiting to give his order. Even though their new plan had been made through notes passed back and forth during the night, he knows it's a good plan. All he can hope is that Bella doesn't get hurt in the process.
Henry looks back at the line and his anger begins to rise as he watches Alexander make his way to the priest, wanting nothing more than to rip the man apart, limb by limb. His impatience is starting to get the best of him, but he knows that until they see Bella, they can't do anything.
As if on cue, he sees two guards dragging Bella to stand across from Alexander. A knot ties his stomach when he sees what she is wearing, thinking that Logan did think this through. The man knew the reaction he would get by making Bella wear a wedding dress in front of everyone.
Bella looks back at Josh, Henry following her with his eyes, just as Josh begins raising his arm, preparing to give the order and readies himself. Once that order is given, Henry won't have a lot of time for his side of the plan, all hell will break loose and he will need to get to Bella fast.
So he waits, his horse beginning to pace under him, eager to run. Henry understands him, wanting the same thing, but not yet, not until Josh gives the signal.
Henry looks back at Josh and sees him looking back at him before dropping his arm, an arrow flying straight and hitting its mark. He urges his horse forward, his men following close behind, losing sight of Bella in the confusion.
He rides has fast as his horse will take him, his heart in his mouth, straight to where Logan's men are now running forward, seeing Bella a few feet ahead of them and praying that he can reach her.
Henry knows he can get to her, urging his horse to go faster, trying to get to her so he can take her to safety. Bella looks back at him and Henry can swear he sees her smiling, making a sharp turn towards him. He doesn't take his eyes from her, getting closer and closer to her.
One minute Bella is running towards him, he can almost reach her, the next she is falling, an arrow on her side. Henry couldn't stop the scream that left his lips as Bella falls, praying to the skies above that she is still alive.
He can feel the fear tight around his heart when he jumps from his horse as soon as he is within reach, his men surrounding him. Henry can hear the swords clashing close by, but he doesn't care, all he cares about is Bella.
Henry kneels next to her and sees that she is still breathing, but she's struggling. Picking her up, he places her on his horse, mounting it behind her, and rides for Josh's camp, hoping that his healers will be able to save her.
He fights his way through the field as best as he can, whispering to Bella to hold on, as his sword slices through another soldier. Reaching the camp isn't easy but he doesn't care. He will do whatever it takes to save her.
Reaching Josh's camp, he quickly makes his way to the healers tent, Bella tightly secured in his arms. He bursts through the tent and places her on a cot, stepping away to give the healers some space, his anger at seeing her so helpless rising to new, dangerous, levels.
He hears one of the healers telling him to leave so they can treat her, forcing Henry to take his eyes from her. He nods at the man and tells him to save her, no uncertainty in his voice.
As he leaves the healers tent, taking one last look at the woman that has his whole heart now laying on a cot so close to death, and walks back to his horse, there's only one thought on Henry's mind: "He's dead.".
