Eight makes one crew

Sector 17

Mingi hadn't meant to fall asleep. He really hadn't but he did fall asleep and that's what brought them to the current predicament. There was no way of getting to land unless the crew either: 

1)waited for someone they actually trusted and knew to come along

2)remained stranded until they died or were eaten

3)trusted this ragtag group of pirates that Mingi had crashed their boat into in the middle of the night. 

There really was only one option and Hongjoong hated it. But there was nothing to be done. There was no way they could stay out there without dying so they threw a rope to the other ship, Sector 17 or something which Hongjoong thought was a ridiculous name but he would never say this out loud, and allowed themselves to be pulled to land where they could fix their ship up. 

"Thanks for ruining our ship" Someone muttered at Mingi, glaring as he walked past. Mingi curled in on himself and didn't say anything. It was clear to him that these guys were all much older and there was a lot more of them too. At least thirteen. 

"Hey watch it!" Wooyoung pushed the guy back, making the worst possible mistake of his life. He ended up getting pushed to the ground and cornered by three very tall, very intimidating pirates. Someone whistled above them and the three taller guys looked away from Wooyoung to their captain above. He cocked his head to the side, motioning them away so they left and Wooyoung scurried off back to his group.

"Hey Woo, let's try not to make enemies on another crew's ship" Hongjoong scolded gently. 

"Sorry Captain" Wooyoung agreed. Hongjoong was right to be worried; they were at a disadvantage here. Not only were they outnumbered but they were on another crew's ship. If a fight were to break out, it would not end well for the crew of the Ateez. 

"I'm going to talk to the captain. You guys stay here and stay out of trouble" Hongjoong gave a pointed look to Wooyoung, who waved it off without a care. He wasn't stupid. He could keep his mouth shut when he wanted to, most of the time he just didn't want to. 

"Is that a good idea, Hongjoong?" Seongwha stopped the smaller man from leaving. Hongjoong shrugged. It probably wasn't a good idea but he didn't have much of a choice anymore because the other captain was coming towards them and there was absolutely no way Hongjoong was letting this guy anywhere near Hongjoong's crew. 

"I'm sorry about running into your ship. It won't happen again" Hongjoong tilted his head down a little.

"Don't worry about it. I've seen my fair share of irresponsible moments from kids, I understand" The taller captain assured Hongjoong. He must have meant it in a nice way but Hongjoong scowled at his words.

"My crew is not irresponsible" Hongjoong stated, glaring. 

"Oh I did not mean it like that. I just meant..well their still kids and kids are bound to mess up. I mean I remember one time two of my guys got into a fight and they still have the scars from it. Things happen, that's what I meant to say" Seungcheol explained furhter. Hongjoong still didn't believe him but he could pretend so he nodded and accepted the assurance that they weren't absolutely hated.

"If any of my boys give yours trouble, let me know and I'll straighten them out" Cheol promised. Hongjoong nodded again and walked off. If any of this crew messed with Hongjoong's kids, there would be hell to pay but he didn't say that. He didn't have to. 

"When can we get off this ship?" Yeosang questioned. He didn't mean for it to sound rude, he was just curious and he really hated the looks they were getting from the other pirates.

"I'm not sure. I think it's going to be a while" Hongjoong admitted, feelign sorry for hte answer. He was just as eager to go as Yeosang was but he couldn't help that their ship needed repairs and the crew of Sector 17 were their only option of getting to land.
