Eight makes one crew

The Black Swan

As soon as Seongwha felt like he could stand without being sick, he ran up to the main deck and tackled the first person he saw into a hug. Yunho stood, froze in shock, and then slowly returned the hug.

"What is this for?" Yunho wondered.

"You poor child. I am so sorry about what happened to you" Seongwha whispered. Yunho saw Hongjoong come up and he knew what had happened.

"It's okay, Hwa. It's in the past and I found a family" Yunho squeezed Seongwha tightly, appreciating the concern.

"I should've known. I was meant to be the King and I didn't even know what was happening right under my own nose" Seongwha mumbled.

"No, no! Don't blame yourself. You couldn't have done anything" Yunho shook his head, trying to get Seongwha to believe him.

"Hey! We got a-" Wooyoung walked over but he was interrupted when Seongwha pulled him into a tight hug.

"He knows what happened. On the Swan" Yunho mouthed to Wooyoung behind Seongwha's back.

"I appreciate your sympathy but we got a problem" Wooyoung pulled away, pointing up into the sky. The silhouette of a large ship shadowed the Ateez.

"You have got to be kidding! Can't they leave us alone?!" Hongjoong yelled, going back to the wheel and turning it sharply. Everyone rushed to grab onto something. The larger ship scraped the side of the Ateez and then sailed off but stopped a little ways away.

"Is that....?" Jongho pointed to the flag on the ship's mast. The other seven guys looked where he was pointing.

"It's a swan" Yeosang stated. Seongwha swallowed nervously.

"It's a black swan" He corrected. Hongjoong flinched and Wooyoung started to sweat. Yunho fumbled a little, the only thing keeping him from falling over was Mingi catching him around the waist.

"Hongjoong! Get us out of here" Seongwha ordered.

"I can't! The ships not-" Hongjoong argued.

"NOW!" Seongwha yelled. His eyes were dark and angry. He was not about to let his crew get captured and have to witness a repeat of their pasts. Hongjoong tried his best but it wasn't long until he stopped, less than an hour later.

"No one has ever ordered the Captain" Wooyoung whispered, holding a crew meeting in his, Yunho and Jongho's room. Yeosang, San and Mingi were sharing a room and Seongwha was given special treatment when he was asked to move into the Captain's quarters.

"Well then you've never met Seongwha. If he wants something done, he expects it to get done" San responded. Wooyoung believed that, based on what he has just witnessed. They were in good hands with Seongwha as the first mate.
