"Jance, sinasagot na kita.." I said cutting him off.
Jance stopped to look at me na para bang nababaliw na ako sa mga salitang binitawan ko.
"Laina are you hearing yourself?" He asked kaya tumango ako. "Wait, totoo ba ito? Hindi ako nananaginip?"
"No, Jance totoo ito. Sinasagot na kita."
"Totoo? As in?" He asked kaya he jumped up and down like a lunatic.
"You have my heart, Jance. I hope you protect it with all the love and care in this world."
"You're my favorite unexpected plot, Laina. I hope you'll trust me."
He gave me a quick hug before walking me to my room. Tulog na ang dalawa so I had to keep quiet.
"Don't miss me too much." He said kaya kinurot ko ang ilong niya.
"I miss you already."
Binuksan ni Jance ang pinto at pinapasok ako before he went to his room.
I went to bed smiling as I had the thought of my first boyfriend.
Kinaumagahan ay hindi ko maitago ang saya ko because Carly was pointing out how blooming and happy I was.
"You seem oddly happy today." She said while we prepared to go to the buffet area for breakfast.
"I'm just enjoying our vacation. Halos 1 year din tayong na-warshock."
"True." She said and tied her hair up then inaya na niya ako sa buffet area.
Once we arrived ay nag-siswimming na ang iba naming katrabaho. Jance was finishing his plate while talking to Jake kaya kumuha kami ni Carly ng food. Tumabi ako kay Jance and tapped on his thigh secretly to get his attention.
Tinignan niya ako and he instantly had a smile plastered on his face. He held my hand under the table and continued talking with Jake. Nahihirapan akong mag panggap na wala lang sa akin dahil kailangan kong kumain. I finally let go of his hand and started eating peacefully.
"I'll go swimming na." Tinignan ko si Jance and shook my head.
"Kakatapos mo lang kumain. Sit down." I said kaya mabilis siyang sumunod. "Mamayang 8:45 ka mag-swimming."
He nodded and borrowed my phone for games. Tinatawanan nila si Jance dahil ang bilis niya raw sumunod sa sinabi ko.
"Lala!" Ella yelled from outside when we exited the buffet area. Basang-basa siya while Oscar was on his phone. "Swim ka na?"
"Later, I just finished breakfast." I answered kaya tumango ito.
"Can I go swimming now?" Jance asked kaya tumango ako but he didn't move. "Sure ka ba? I won't if you don't want to."
"Huh? Oo, umalis ka na." I was starting to get annoyed at him.
"Bakit parang galit ka?"
"Ano? Hindi nga, go na alis na." I tried convincing him pero hindi ito gumalaw.
"Sure ka talaga?"
"Huwag na!" I yelled at nilayasan siya.
Nakakainis! Sabing okay nga lang eh! I went to our room and slept on my bed, pakiramdam ko kasi ay super sakit ng ulo ko.
I didn't feel sick last night kaya nagtataka ako kung bakit ang sama ng pakiramdam ko ngayon.
Nagising ako sa katok sa labas.
"Knock, knock!" Carly opened the door and brought me some vitamins and water. "That time of the month again?"
I checked my calendar and she was right. Kaya ako nainis kay Jance kanina was because he was really annoying and I was on my period.
"Hindi ko alam." I said. "Nakakainis kasi."
"Laina?" Jance opened the door and asked if Carly could give us a moment. "Baby, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, sorry meron lang ako ngayon." I said. "Sorry nasigawan kita."
"Okay lang but do you need anything? I can buy for you." He said but I declined.
"Baka hindi na rin ako lumangoy ngayon, pero go ka na enjoy yourself." I said.
He kissed my forehead then smiled.
"I don't want to swim anymore."
Buong araw niya akong sinamahan sa kung saan-saan, I was thankful for him na rin for respecting my wishes on keeping us a secret from everyone muna.
I felt a little sleepy kaya sinubukan kong itulog na lang lahat.
"Baby?" Jance called before I drifted off to sleep. "I love you."
