Kim Haewon
I groaned and rolled over, immediately regretting it. The pressure on my head made it ache even more. The sun coming in from the blinds wasn't helping either. I sat up and stretched, then looked over at the time.
I am so glad I'm going in to work later rather than now.
I slipped out of bed and walked downstairs, to get some painkillers for my headache.
"Morning," Minji said casually, looking at me. I glanced back at her.
"Thanks for picking me up," I said. Honestly, I don't even remember her picking me up, but who else would've ensured I got back home?
"What?" Minji frowned. "Hyunjin dropped you off. Were you that drunk?" I choked on the water.
"Hyunjin?" I echoed. Hyunjin dropped me off? Shit. I didn't do anything stupid, right?
"Yeah, you made him carry you from the car to your bedroom," Minji said. I gasped.
"I did what?" I facepalmed. "Please tell me you're joking."
"Nope, bridal style and all," she said, smirking at me. "You don't seem too happy about that"
"I'm not," I muttered. "Shit, did I do anything stupid?"
"Apart from not let him leave, nothing," she said. I frowned.
"Is he here?"
"No, he said you fell asleep and he left," she shrugged. "He's caring."
"He cheated."
"Listen, Haewon," she looked at me seriously. "From what happened last night, I can tell things are different. I'm not saying let him in immediately..."
"So what are you saying?"
"People change, for the better," she said, looking me in the eyes. "You did, he did too."
-
People Change. For the better.
Holy shit.
Can I trust Hyunjin now? He is way different, way more mature. I must admit, every time we do so much as touch, I feel some certain way. A way I haven't felt in a while. Almost like an electricity.
A sexual electricity.
-
I walked into the elevator. I had some things to drop off at Changbin and Yeonjun's office. Why Chan relies on me for everything, I don't know. At least I got a pay rise.
Stop fucking me around and tell me if I'm getting that promotion or not.
The elevator dinged, and I looked at the screen. Wrong floor, someone else must have pressed it from this floor. The doors opened, revealing the one and only, the man I was dreading to see this morning, the man who for some reason kept me up at night, the man that I can't seem to avoid, the man I can't seem to hate, Hwang Hyunjin.
He looked up and smiled, then walked in the elevator with me. He didn't say anything, and the awkward silence remained as the elevator went up.
"Minji said you brought me home last night," I said suddenly, to break the tension.
Shit Haewon, what's wrong with you?
"Then I suppose it must be true," he replied calmly.
"Thank you," I said. "I hope I didn't do anything too stupid..."
"Well...apart from pour your whole life story to Minho, I'd say you're in the clear," he said. My jaw dropped and I stared at him, and he grinned. "Kidding, you fell asleep in the car."
"Phew," I murmured. "Never doing that again." He smiled.
"I don't think Sakura will like the sound of that."
"She can suck it up."
-
"Have fun with Hwang last night?" Minho smirked. I raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"From what I remember, he dragged you out of my house, hand in hand, and as soon as you stepped out 'come on baby!'" he grinned, and I felt my cheeks turning pink.
Hyunjin didn't mention that because he wanted to spare me the embarrassment.
In that case, Hyunjin is 100x better than Minho.
But then again, Minho didn't cheat.
"How was your night with Sakura?" I asked, wiping the smile off his face immediately. "I thought you were asking her to go out, not asking her to go in, if you know what I mean."
"Oh shut up," Minho scoffed. "Why are you even here?"
"Waiting to see Seungmin and Cho-hee," I said. "and you?"
"Waiting to kill Seungmin," he replied bitterly.
"Why?" I asked, a frown on my face.
"The idiot thought it would be a good idea to put salt in my coffee instead of sugar," he said. "Ah there the man of the moment is." He indicated to Seungmin, coming out of the restroom. He frowned.
"Yes?"
"SALT?" Minho yelled. "SALT?"
"Salt?" Seungmin looked utterly bewildered. "What about salt?"
"In my coffee, that you brought me!" Minho scoffed. "I'm going to kill you."
"Oh, Jisung made your coffee," Seungmin said. "I didn't put salt in your coffee. I'm not that evil." Minho's jaw dropped.
"Jisung?" he scoffed. "No, no way."
"Uhm, yes, yes way," Seungmin rolled his eyes. "If you don't mind, I have a date with my girlfriend." Minho scoffed.
"I'm gonna kill Jisung," he muttered, then turned on his heel and stomped away. I raised an eyebrow and turned to Seungmin, who smirked.
"Eh, now that I think about it, maybe it wasn't Jisung," he winked.
Dumbass.

Hwang Hyunjin's POV:
"Why do you look so happy?" My roommate Jeongin asked. We had been friends for 3 years, and lived together for one.
"Am I not allowed to smile?" I asked, taking my shoes off and throwing my bag to the side.
"Is it a girl?" Jeongin asked. I rolled my eyes.
"I was just thinking about something that happened last night," wrong thing to say.
"Ooo, you fucked someone," Jeongin smirked.
Minho and Jeongin would get along well.
"No, I told you, I went to my friend slash work colleague's house."
"Imagine replacing me that easily," Jeongin scoffed and flopped down on the sofa, kicking my bag off onto the floor. I sighed and picked it up.
"I'm going to paint," I said.
"Damn, this girl really did something to you," he called as I walked into my room. "You're painting for her!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Shut the fuck up."
