Hyunjin x Minho

Contents warnings: Needles, hospital, cursing

A dance teacher should set a good example for their students, but Hyunjin isn't exactly doing that.

"Teacher! Can you show me how you do that move on the last part?" A student asked when the music stopped. She did not quite catch the move and with Hyunjin being the teacher, she asked him to show it again.

Hyunjin knew these students well as he'd been teaching the same group for six months now, which meant he also knew their weaknesses.

"Sure SooJin, watch closely. I will show it twice. First slowly and second time on the normal speed."

He started the move slowly, while subtly increasing the pace as the move went on.

Minho stood on the doorway admiring his friend who continuously put a hundred percent effort into his classes. He saw the younger starting to redo the move with the quicker pace as he promised. Minho watched closely as he knew the move was a complex one and dangerous. Hyunjin's movements flowed perfectly on the beat as if his heart was captured by the song in its entirety. Though Minho's face fell into shock as he saw the younger's leg bend into an odd position and Hyunjin wincing in pain when he stumbled on the floor.

"Hyunjin!

Both Minho and Hyunjin's students rushed to help him. "Are you okay?" Hyunjin shook his head and pulled the leg of his pants up to see the ankle he had just hurt.  It didn't look like it was broken, more like it was just sprained. "Can you get up?" Minho questioned observing Hyunjin and his facial expressions to see any signs of discomfort.

The dancer was in no place of getting up, not without help at least. Minho told the nearest student to find an icepack and a bandage. To the rest he told that they were dismissed early as Hyunjin couldn't even form sentences while trying not to think about the pain. "Minho, I can't go on sick leave."

The older knew Hyunjin was drowning in debt, not because he was reckless with money, but because his parents had taken loans in his name before he had turned eighteen, which meant it all fell on him the day he turned eighteen. And he was now paying that debt by working and doing what he enjoyed, dancing. If he now had to go on sick leave, he would presumably lose his income, which would result to staying behind on payments.

The girl came back with an ice pack and a pack of bandages which she handed to Minho who thanked with a gentle smile decorating his face and told her to just go before he started bandaging Hyunjin's ankle, knowing well enough he wasn't going to do it himself.

After bandaging Hyunjin's ankle Minho stood up and helped his injured friend up as well and practically forces him to get on his back so he could give him a piggyback ride to his car.
"Where are we going?"
"To the emergency room."

Hyunjin's eyes widened as he heard the words.
If he's going to the emergency room and it turns out to be a sprain, he would be out of dancing for at least two to three weeks.
"No! Do you not understand-"
He started, but Minho ruthlessly interrupted him, "I know, you would go on sick leave and I will help you. Everything will turn out well in the end."

They got to Minho's car and he helped Hyunjin on the seat and himself going to the driver's seat and starting the car.
"I don't like you straining yourself just because of the debt you have."
"I don't have a choice and you know it."
