Continuation of; Banned from the kitty cafe
Minsung
Tw: fluffy, cute and angst
Disclaimer: I tried googling about tattoo artist's salary but the information was very vague so the amounts seen on this chapter is not realistic and again I will be using euros as a currency because it's easier for me.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------"But have you ever thought of training your cats to find money?"
"No. That's an insane idea. Where did you even get this from?" Minho questioned as he whipped up the cream for a customer's coffee behind the counter. Jisung stood on the other side with one of Minho's cats in his arms as they spoke. The two had known each other for about a year now and every day was a new discovery about one another. Minho knew of Jisung's obsession for nature documentaries, but money sniffing cats were a completely new thing.
"I watched this tv-show called Australian border control and they had dogs that smell drugs, explosives and money, so I was wondering if cats could do that too", with a shrug of shoulders Jisung moved out of the way when another customer came in.
A woman in her thirties probably. She looked at Jisung with a smile before turning to Minho to order, "Hi, I would like to get a black coffee and one chocolate muffin" she spoke quickly, ordering most likely one of the most common things people bought from the cafe and left after paying and receiving her purchase.
"My point is, cats can be sneaky, so imagine what wonders they could do if you taught them to find money."
"Do you perhaps need a job Sung?"
Minho knew Jisung struggled with money now that he had graduated from university and lived off by a monthly government assistance. And the fact that Jisung was speaking about money made him curious.
The younger's ears perked at the mention of a job, "here?"
Minho shook his head, "No not here. I recall you saying you like to draw?"
He thought back to a moment when they talked about hobbies and dreams. Remembering Jisung mentioning drawing as one of his hobbies and showing his artwork to the older, Minho might know a job for the boy.Seeing Jisung nod he explained that one of his friends owned a tattoo shop and they were hiring an artist to draw tattoos.
The boy automatically got excited ate the mention of tattoos.
He had never actually told Minho, but one of his dreams was to be a tattoo artist. So the fact that Minho suggested it to him made him think Minho was a mindreader and it slightly scared him."Give me the number."
Jisung put the grey brown cat down on the floor and took out his phone to write the number down.
"It's 143-253-771 and the guy's name is Changbin."
The boy didn't want the position to slip from between his fingers so he called there man right away.
"Hi, is this Changbin?"
"Yes, how may I help?"Minho looked at Jisung who took a deep breath before speaking again, "I'm Han Jisung, Minho's friend. He told me you were looking for an artist to work at your tattoo parlour." Changbin confirmed Jisung's thoughts and asked if he was looking for a job.
And when Jisung said yes, Changbin asked to meet at his parlour in half an hour and to bring his artwork with him. That meant Jisung had to run home to fetch his sketchbook. He ran out of the kitty cafe yelling bye to Minho and making sure none of the cats got out.In fifteen minutes Jisung was already on his way to the parlour with a folder of drawings in a tight grip to make sure they wouldn't fall.
"Hi, I'm looking for Changbin." He panted as he got through the doors of the tattoo shop. It was a nicely decorated place with the insides being mostly dark and red coloured.
"It's me. I would assume you're Jisung?"
"Yes."
