Chapter 23 (+lando 1st win photodump)

Jaida's pov:

As the Mexican Grand Prix drew closer i decided to go home with my mum, Lando insisted on coming with me as he doesn't need to be in Mexico for just under a week.

To prevent arguments between me and Gigi, Lando hired a private jet for us two so him and my mum wouldn't have to listen to me and Gigi arguing.

"We really didn't need a private jet, me and Gigi said we'd be civil around my mum" i said as he sat down next to me on the jet,
"McLaren said they'd get a private jet so why not use it" he replied as i shrugged and intertwined my hand with his.

"thank you for coming back with me" i said,
"i told you I'd be here every step of the way" he replied before kissing my head making me smile.

After a long flight we finally arrived in England, we got an uber from the airport straight to my apartment.

"Welcome to my home, probably no where near the luxury your used to" i said as we walked in,
"its cosy i love it" he replied before laying on the sofa making me giggle.

He looked at me confused as i sat on the arm of the sofa.

"What?" i asked as he opened his arms,
"what are you doing over there?" he replied making me smile as i got up and walked over to him before laying in his arms,
"i could lay like this forever" i said making him
giggle,
"that can be arranged" he replied before kissing my head.

We laid like that for a long time before i realised i had to pop into the salon.

"I need to go to the salon" i said before sitting up,
"can i come" he asked,
"course you can" i replied before standing up,
"i know your only after a haircut" i added making him laugh,
"alright you got me" he said making me giggle before holding my hand out helping him up.

"No way am i being your passenger princess" he complained as i unlocked my car and climbed into the drivers seat,
"quit complaining and get in" i replied as he sighed and climbed into the passenger seat making me giggle.

I crept my hand onto his leg like he always does to me when he's driving making him snap his head to look at me as i laughed.

"Your not funny" he said with a small smile making me giggle,
"i know i'm not, i'm hilarious" i replied as he giggled and shook his head.

Once we arrived we headed inside to see a basically full salon taking me by surprise.

"Jaida!" Fiona said making me smile as she came over and hugged me,
"hey Fi how's it been?" i asked,
"really good! We've been so busy" she replied as i nodded.

"Oh uh Lando this is Fiona she's the girl who's in charge when i'm not here. And Fiona this is my boyfriend Lando, i'm sure you already know that since your f1 obsessed" i said making her giggle as she shook Lando's hand,
"i am a massive fan. A massive Ferrari fan though sorry" she replied making Lando laugh,
"it's okay everyone's a Ferrari fan" he said making her giggle.

"Lan go sit down i'll be over in a second to cut your hair" i said to him as he nodded and walked over to a seat.

"I'm gonna pop to the office to check the books and everything" i said to Fiona as she nodded,
"i'll come with you, give us chance to catch up" she said with a grin making me giggle as we headed to the office.

"So Lando Norris" she said with a grin as i began looking through the books,
"what about him" i replied with a smirk,
"when did you and him become a thing? I thought George wouldn't let you meet them" she said,
"he begged me to come to a race, i met Lando, got on well as friends with him but then realised i actually liked him. The little fucker lost me a bet" i replied making her laugh,
"what bet?" she asked,
"I made a bet with Carmen that i wouldn't fall in love with Lando before the end of the season. She won and i'm £50 down" i replied as she gasped,
"wow you guys are serious then" she said as i nodded.
