Chapter 16

Lando's pov:

It's been months since i saw Jaida, in the end she decided to come to the Italy race as she says Italy is her favourite country then she went back home,

she said she would rejoin in the US but i wasn't sure if she would,

"how's your love life going then mate?" Max asked as he, his girlfriend Pietra and Ria sat in the McLaren hospitality with me,
"no i have not spoken to Jaida nor have i seen her since Italy" i replied as he nodded,
"who's Jaida?" Pietra asked,
"you know the girl i said Lando is in love with but refuses to admit it?" Max replied making me tut,
"ohhhh" Pietra said in realisation,

"you haven't even spoken?" Ria asked as i nodded,
"i have a feeling that's about to change" Max replied making me look at him confused before looking out to see Jaida and Carmen walking into the paddock,

"JAIDA" Ria yelled before getting up and running over giving her a hug,

she looked beautiful, this friends thing is gonna be harder then i thought.

Jaida's pov:

"JAIDA" Ria yelled snapping my attention to the McLaren hospitality to see her Max and Lando,

she ran over and embraced me in a hug making me giggle,

"Hey Ria how are you?" i asked,
"i'm good how are you?" she replied as i nodded,
"i'm good" i said as Lando, Max and a blonde girl walked over.

"hey guys" i said before hugging max,
"hey i haven't seen you in months" Max said as we pulled apart making me giggle,

"hey Landinho" i said to Lando making him smile before i pulled him in for a hug,
"i'm out the bad books now?" he whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine, i hate the effect he has on me,
"yeah i suppose so" i replied making him giggle,

"hey i don't think we're met i'm Jaida" i said to the blonde girl making her smile before gently hugging me,
"hi i'm Pietra, Max's girlfriend" she replied as i gasped,
"your beautiful how on earth has he pulled you?" i asked making the others laugh as Max dropped his jaw,
"oh cheers Jaida nice to see you again" Max said sarcastically making me laugh,

"right come on let's go find that idiot" i said to Carmen who giggled,
"said idiot being?" Max asked,
"George" Lando replied making me look at him before nodding,
"yep exactly that" i said making him smirk before we said our goodbyes and headed to the Mercedes Hospitality.

Lando's pov:

"she's stunning" Pietra said as she looked at me,
"i know" i replied making them all look at each other with a smile,
"what?" i asked them making them all shrug,
"you lot are a subtle as a house brick" i added making them laugh,

"so are you mate" Max replied,
"what's that supposed to mean?" i asked as i crossed my arms,
"your tryna tell us you guys are just friends but then someone calls her stunning and you agree with them?" he said with a devious smile,
"because she is? i'm not gonna lie am i" i replied,
"who said you needed to say anything?" Ria asked making me look at them,

"i need to go find Oscar" i said before walking off making them laugh.

Jaida's pov:

i walked with Carmen nervous to see George as in Italy we never spoke about what happened and i knew we needed to,

once we walked in Carmen kissed George's cheek and whispered something in his ear making him stand up and face me,
