Chapter 28

Jaida's pov:

It's been about a year and 2 months since my mum passed.

In October 2024 Lando asked me to move to Monaco with him, at first i wasn't sure but i spoke to my dad about it and he reminded me of what my mum said before she passed, "he's one of the good ones. Don't let him go", so with that i decided to be selfish for once and say yes to Lando.

I sold my salon to Fiona and opened another salon in Monaco. I wasn't sure how it would do but it turnt out to be one of the best rated salon's in Monaco fulfilling my dreams.

Today it's valentine's day and it's the day i have something to tell Lando.

I woke up to Lando kissing my shoulder as he hugged me from behind.

"Good morning" i said before turning to face him,
"good morning. Happy Valentine's day" he replied with a cute grin making me smile before pecking his lips,
"happy valentine's day baby" i said as i played with his curls.

"We need to get up soon" he said making me look at him confused,
"how come?" i asked,
"we've got plans today. But first, i have something for you" he replied before climbing out of bed making me sit up intrigued.

He walked back into the door with a small wrapped present,
"Lan you didn't have to get me anything-" i said,
"it's our first valentines of course i'm getting you something" he replied making me smile before unwrapping my present.

I opened the wrapping to see a jewellery box, i opened the jewellery box to be met with a beautiful gold watch.

"Lando- this must've costed a fortune" i said,
"that doesn't matter" he replied as he sat opposite me on the bed,
"I love it thank you so much" i said before leaning over giving him a kiss.

"I also have something for you" i said before rummaging through my bedside table draw.

"Here" i said before handing him his present.

I sat there nervously as he unwrapped his present,
"Aw Jaida this is so cute" he said as he held a beaded bracelet in his hand.

"Read it" i said before he read it shortly letting out a gasp.

"Is this you being zesty or are you telling me something" he said making me laugh,
"there's something else in that box" i replied before he lifted out a small baby grow saying "surprise daddy" on it making his jaw drop.

"Is this for real?" he asked with a wide smile as i nodded making I'm pull me into a hug.

"How far along are you?" he asked,
"the test said 3-4 weeks" i replied before he kissed me,
"we're gonna be parents" he said as i started nodding with tears in my eyes.

"Have you told anyone else?" he asked as i shook my head,
"course not, only fair your the first person i told" i replied as he nodded with a grin,
"i can't stop smiling" he said making me laugh as i started putting kisses all over his cheeks making him giggle.

"Was that the door?" i asked as i heard a knock,
"i think so" he replied before getting up and walking to the door.

"Alright mate?" I heard Lando say shortly followed by a reply in Max Fewtrells voice.
