𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 7: 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐬

"Attention all Total Drama passengers! In accordance with emergency landing procedures, you will now be shown the nearest exit!"

Chris' voice announces as the emergency exit door opens, and DJ falls out into the water, soon followed by the rest as Chef pushes them out. Venus grabs a first-class cushion before being shoved out into the water with the rest. DJ distressed screams as he struggled to swim were heard by Venus, who tossed him the cushion before swimming towards him.

"You must be hearing this a lot but... alliance?"

Before DJ can even answer, Chris makes himself present by standing on a boat wearing a green raincoat.

"Hey there, you gowdy eingy shores. Ever been to sea?"

Sierra gasps before spitting information about Chris' home country and complimenting him in the process. Chris smirks before explaining the challenge, to swim to each team's boats, and to start paddling.

"Victory, since you're a team of one, yours has been set up with an outboard motor."

DJ groans but is ignored as the challenge starts. Team Victory gathers close with Courtney bossing them around about swimming to their boat in V formation.

Meanwhile, Team Chris already were close to their boat. One by one, they get on the boat and sit down, helping Owen get on with the fishing net. Before they start rowing, Venus stands up to dive into the water and starts swimming towards DJ's boat.

"Where are you going?" Alejandro asks from the boat.

"You just start rowing! We'll meet on the shore!"

Without further explanation, Venus resumed her swimming towards DJ's boat while Noah and Tyler started rowing. Out of nowhere, like always, the musical bell chimes in.

"It's a sea shanty, this alliance will come in handy~" Venus sings as she tries to turn on the outboard motor. "DJ! Sing!" Her statement is answered by him shaking his head while smiling.

"It's a sea shanty, DJ, please sing Chris is gettin' cranky!~" Venus sings, trying once again to make DJ sing. "No you can't catch me, with the sea shanty~" He finally sings, to which Venus smiles and cheers.

"Yes!"

To add to her good luck, the motor finally starts, and the boat smoothly sails across the sea to the shore in almost no time.

Venus completely agreed with Noah's aunt regarding the show. It was way out of pocket. She would have never thought Chris would make them kiss a fish.

"And here I thought he couldn't be any sicker."

She comments to the person beside her, Noah, and they both snicker. They quickly shut up when Chris glares at them for a second before focusing back on the challenge. Noticing DJ not completing the fish challenge, Venus leans beside him and fakes sympathy.

"What's wrong, DJ?"

"If I touch it, something bad is going to happen, I just know it."

Venus looks at the fish as she notices something odd in the fish. She gasps as she recognizes that something as an Egyptian symbol.

"Look! It's got an Egyptian symbol! That must mean something, maybe it'll break your curse. You must try and break it so no more animals get hurt."

"I guess that... maybe."

DJ closes his eyes and, well, strats to make out with the fish. So does Tyler, who thinks of Lindsay while kissing the animal.

"Ah, first class again. Finally."

Venus lets out a content sigh as she relaxes on her seat, the cucumber slices on her eyes, refreshing her whole face.

"Enjoying yourself, mi amor?"

Venus lifts up one of the cucumber slices to see Alejandro's charming smile. She rolls her eyes and lifts the slice back down.

"After all those days in losers' class? Feels like heaven here."

"I'm glad such a lady like you is enjoying herself in such commodities."

Venus doesn't even bother in responding as she shifts on her seat to a sleeping position, disposing of the cucumber slices. Needless to say, she got the best sleep she had in days. After staring at her sleeping form with a soft expression, Alejandro softly kisses her head when he's sure she's deep asleep.

His expression darkens as he glares at a sleeping Noah. Oh, how he hated him. It wasn't even annoyment anymore. It was raw and passionate hate. He was going to vote Noah off as soon as he got the opportunity. It wasn't about the game anymore.

It was personal.
