April 18th 201M B.C 2006 (Many Years Before Inco and Olivia meet)

Nathan was struggling as a single father. It had been three weeks since his wife went missing on her mission to the other side of the world. Nathan was a broken drunken mess half the time with Sophia and Randy coming in everyday to check up on their long time friend. Sophia was always always so kind, always offering to care for the little one and a half year old Baryonyx that was currently on the floor tearing apart a plush toy that Randy had brought her.

Nathan was thankful to have them in his life, he was at his lowest point in his life right now, he felt like he was failing as a my father since he could barely help his daughter with the most minor of tasks without completely breaking down. Ashley was always there to bring him back up, always there to comfort and remind him that he was always loved and cherished. Even if others didn't care for him, she was always there to show her love and affection.

What he'd do to just see her one more time, to just tell her one more 'I love you' or 'You're beautiful' to her face. Nathan was strung on the sofa with a half empty bottle of vodka in his hand, the gator baby stared at her father while Randy and Sophia couldn't help but pity the Baryonyx. He had just lost his wife three weeks ago out of the blue and now has to take care of their child alone; who wouldn't be in his position?

Sophia was in the small kitchen making some grub for Nathan herself and her husband, her husband was going through the fridge to get a formula out for the baby gator that definitely would be hungry right now. Randy pulled out a baby bottle and some baby food for the gator, he turned his sight towards his wife while she put her cooking into the oven to let it sit. "Honey, do you think it was wise to leave Damien home with your parents, last time they took care of Damien he found firecrackers in the garage and almost lit the whole house ablaze."

Sophia rolled her eyes, she knew her parents were a bit slow but they could take care of little Damien for a bit. They took care of her and she came out alright... Right? "Randy, they'll be fine honey, I will admit my father and mother's parenting was and is questionable but I can safely say they will be fine without us."

Randy sighed and nodded, he loves the old couple but he couldn't help but worry that his father-in-law would teach Damien how to turn blankets into a war ready weapon. He wasn't ready for another crazy dino I'm the family just yet, he would rather wait another five or so years for that to happen so his hair wouldn't grey out too soon. Sophia was already taking her mits off since it would be awhile before she would need to take out her cooking dish. "So... What are we going to do about Nathan? He's clearly not in a state to take care of a child, Olivia was trying to chew on the lamp cord when we got here and he didn't even notice."

Randy spun around and surveyed the sorry state of the apartment, kitchen, rooms and the heavy-hearted Baryonyx who was half asleep on the couch with a bottle in his hand. He hated to admit but his wife was right, this wasn't a place for a child sad to say. He had known Nathan for a long time, friends since childhood and grew up close with one another. He didn't want to do this but he didn't want Nathan to lose his daughter as well, she was always so hungry, a neverending mouth to feed that was ever growing. Nathan was barely paying attention to her, he was always trying to sleep and dream about Ashley. He wasn't even eating anymore, practically starving himself without even realizing, he was lost and alone with Ashley and everyone around knew it.

Sophia was eyeing as well, she sighed and went back to trying to go clean around the apartment, it was smelly, dish ridden, trash high and a pest central zone. Sophia grasped the broom and put on some gloves, she turned her attention back to her husband this time. "When is Nathan supposed to go back in?"

Randy shrugs. "I don't know, Sophie... I think he said he has four days before he has to go back, I offered to take care of Olivia while he's away... He took the offer immediately." Randy stared gloomily at the sleeping depressed state of his long time friend, the Baryonyx would never be the same after this and Randy knew that.
