A few days have passed since the party, and Olivia was finally free since she had told her family that she was pregnant and didn't have that on her shoulders the entire time. She finally felt happy right now; they were expecting it, and now everyone knows. She wished they could have gone out, strolled through the park with Luna, gone to the movies together, and maybe gone back to Six Scales amusement park since they hadn't been there in years.

It would have been delightful to go back and actually do something since she felt so bored at home now; having the recent energy spike was really bothering her since right now there was nothing to do. Reasons for being kept inside? It was pouring outside. A flash flood warning for the area had been notified to their phones, so they had gotten ready for it.

They were used to floods around the area; it would always be a reminder of when they were in high school together and had to tread the dark and spooky hallways and then find Iadakan with a lit cigar and an axe ready in his hand.

It looked exactly like that moment, but there wasn't a monsoon happening now. They were thankful since they didn't want any damage to their home; they just moved in after all. The three were huddled on the couch watching a movie together. Inco had his arm around his wife's shoulders, and the small axolotl was placed in-between them. "Ironic, we're watching a movie about a natural disaster when we were literally in a flash flood warning."

Olivia crossed her arms and smirked as she giggled at the multi-raced white-skinned human male that was running hand in hand with an orange Parasaurolophus away from a giant swirling cloud vortex that was taking out everything in its path. The movie was older than Inco and Olivia, but they both loved it since it had the great-great Bill Paxton in it. "Well, at least we don't live there; tornadoes are way worse and more deadly than the floods we get here."

Olivia crossed her arms and nodded. It was true, but the worst they'd get were hurricanes. Hurricanes were always slamming into the shore and causing havoc. They had not had a hurricane strike the Voldcaldera Bluff's shores in a while; Inco had never been in a hurricane, and he would hope it stayed that way. "Yeah, but it would be so cool to see one up close. Holy shit, they're practically flying in that thing!"

Luna narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms. She huffed as she poked at Olivia. "Language!"

Olivia placed her hands on her mouth and giggled. She rolled her eyes and brought the little axolotl closer while they continued to watch the climax of the movie. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, you little rat." Inco smiled at them both, gazing at his two important girls in his life. He felt his heart soar and his body relaxed. He brought them even closer to his side. Olivia rested her head on his shoulder and nestled up, while Luna bounced up and down excitedly as she heard the movie come to a conclusion. Despite her blindness, the axolotl was very fond of movies. "What movies are next? I want to watch more!"

Inco got the TV remote and started to search for what was on. He was trying to find a good movie that he and his family would like; maybe something from his childhood would be nice.

The power began to flicker; a hard whip-cracking shot of lightning flashed through the sky outside and began to pour harder. Everything turned off after that. The TV went blank, the lights above flickered out, the refrigerator powered off, and the entire neighborhood went out and was left in darkness.

Inco looked up at the lights, got off the couch, and began to flicker the light switch. His mouth straightened; he let out a sigh and grumbled. "The power is out, actually... It seems the whole neighborhood is out as well; damn, everything is dark outside." He peered outside the window; he could barely see anything but the rain hitting the window and the tree branches violently swaying with the strong winds of the thunderstorm.
