May 30th 201M B.C 2028 (Very Early In The Morning)
Loud, thunderous snores rumbled throughout the master bedroom as two figures slept together. One bald-headed human man was being held tightly by one gator girl. Her tail wrapped tightly around his leg underneath the covers, and her arm draped over his chest. Her snout was positioned near his head, so luckily he had his ear muffs on while he slept. The thunderous and heavy snores the pregnant baryonyx was giving out right now could definitely be lethal, especially since she was right up against his ear. Thankfully, his ear muffs were of the best quality and were specifically designed for this type of thing; he couldn't hear anything but only feel the touches and soft caresses his wife occasionally gave him.
The alarm clock was practically useless to Inco; he had to train his body to wake up earlier than everyone else; 'everyone else' now included little Luna, so he could get breakfast ready and get dressed for the long work day ahead. He was glad that sometimes Olivia would wake up early-rarely-and jostle him awake so he could get the day started. Unfortunately, though, this morning wasn't the case.
He was quite comfortable being held by his wife at the moment; he didn't really want to get up, so he decided that he would give it another five or ten minutes before he would have to get up and get breakfast rolling. Olivia's usual was an everyday thing he made her; sometimes he would change it up, but she liked bacon. Anything that had bacon in it, she'd devour as of late and mix it with pancakes, waffles, or scrambled eggs. It would definitely please the gator.
Luna was a tricky one; she always liked soft food, for obvious reasons since she didn't have teeth, and went for things like soup, spaghetti, and even some soft fruits that she could slurp up whole. Luna was an easy little demon to manage; it was Olivia that was extremely hard to keep happy and satisfied. Inco would sometimes have to run to the store in the middle of the night to get her something to eat-an obscure food delicacy she had never eaten before-and ask for that. He remembers one time she asked for pickles, a steak, sausages, and some beans when it was almost four a.m. She pulled off his ear muffs and whispered into his ear, giving him the fright of his life that night.
He came back home with everything, and apparently she had already gone back to sleep and wasn't actually hungry when he got back. Inco just said 'screw it' and went downstairs, putting the stuff she wanted away and falling asleep on the couch. He was way too tired to even go up the stairs; he planted his face into the couch and slept there. It was painful; that damn couch was not meant to be a bed.
His arms wrapped tighter around his wife's shoulders, which caused the baryonyx to nestle deeper into his neck. Inco didn't want to get up; he knew the alarm would sound in a few minutes, so he would get up and turn it off. He wanted her to at least get a few more minutes of sleep.
The sound of nothingness was calming to him, and the sound of complete silence was therapeutic to him. His hands gently glided up and down the now very prominent, swollen bump that had made itself known. His hands gently stroked her green, scaly stomach; she wasn't wearing a shirt since the summer heat was already starting to show its ugly mug to all of Voldcaldera. Even with the cool air conditioning that is on practically 24/7 now, it would still be unbearably hot in the home. They should definitely upgrade the AC in their room immediately.
The blanket was at knee length for the two. Kicking the blanket from his leg, Inco looked down at his wife, who was still fast asleep, her eyes closed with her mouth slightly open. He couldn't hear it, but he was certain that she was snoring up a storm due to the earth-shattering rumbling that he could feel whenever she snored.
Closing his eyes again and finally feeling some cool air hitting his feet since they were on fire a moment ago, Inco rested his head back against the pillow and held his wife closer to him. Her hand was on her belly, and he could feel her slightly larger hand against his as he lowered it down onto it. His hand gently intertwined with her own, which unconsciously tightened with his. Closing his eyes again, he let peace and the sweet embrace of sleep overtake him for a little while, drifting down into slumber once again.
