Chapter 47- I Wani Celebrate Father's Day!

June 18th 201M B.C 2028 (Early In The Morning For The Nito Household)

Finally, it arrived. Inco was excited for today; this would mark the first day ever that he would officially be a father and would be celebrating Father's Day. Back then, he really never celebrated Father's Day. His father was a good man, but he was always busy and never had the time to be at home and actually celebrate the holiday. Years later, he would always tag along and celebrate Father's Day with Damien, Vinny, Sophia, and Olivia, surprising Randy for Father's Day since he deserved all the love in the world for being the best dad, husband, and guardian to his family.

It was only right for him since the Dilophosaurus patriarch was always so humble and would have always taken care of him when his parents weren't around. He had felt more love from the Dino Dad than his actual parents combined. He always feels down whenever he compares Randy to his father; he knows his father tries but is always pushed back down into his seat because of his stone-cold mother. He just wished that his father actually stood up for himself for once, not being constantly thrown under the bus or stomped on by his mother.

He darted around the kitchen and focused on his cooking, continuing to make breakfast for his family so that they could have a good meal and would be energized for the rest of the day. Olivia wanted her usual; she wasn't too picky in the morning since waking up left her tired and groggy. It wasn't until later in the day when she wanted Inco to rob a grocery store for her cravings.

His daughter had requested some Lucky Charms to kickstart her day; she did want some Fooly Coolios, but they were unfortunately out at the moment. She had devoured and gone through multiple boxes of Fooly Coolios in the last few days; it was totally healthy, he swears. She loved the added sugar rush that the cereal gave her so she could be energized during the day, but it had a side effect that they tried to cut her off of when they discovered it. The side effect was being energized for the entire day; she would NOT stop bouncing off the walls and ceiling.

He heard the shower upstairs shut off and assumed Olivia had finally finished her 'wake-up' bath that she always takes in the morning. Even after being a teacher for almost a year now, she never got used to waking up early in the morning, so she has to take cold showers to get up and start moving around instead of being a zombie in the morning. Even though she is out of work, she still makes it a duty to get up and take an early morning cold shower. It's become tradition at this point, and she did not want to break it.

He was pretty sure the little lotl would be next to take a shower. Olivia offered to wait outside while the lotl took a bath in private. She wanted to at least make sure she wouldn't hurt herself since she could easily slip and fall, but the young, gilled girl told the gator she would be okay since she had done this many times before back at her old home with ease. Still unsure, Olivia firmly stayed put outside the door and made sure to keep watch and be ready to help her if anything happened.

While they did that, this gave him time to finalize the special meal that he would prepare for his wife as well. He knew she wanted just her generic order, but he wanted a little spice to it. After all, it was Father's Day, and he wanted to project the blitheness he was feeling at this moment in his cooking. He didn't know why, but the recent events of yesterday popped back into his head, and it melted his heart. Inco and Olivia had a cook-off together and wanted to impress the judge, the judge being Luna, and they went all out to bribe her. It was fun, and the day was full of laughter and excitement all around. Damien, Vinny, Liz, Ben, and Lunara even decided to join in on the little event to try and impress the tiny dictatorial judge. Liz didn't really participate in the cook-off; she was too busy taking care of the fussy little James while her husband and his brother made the most devious and disgusting concoctions.
