It's Friday, meaning Junior class talk about events. I sat at the end of the table playing with my pen while staring off into space.

"Maelyn." I turned to my vice president to see her giving me a confused look.

"Yes, Brooke?"

"The thanksgiving potluck is coming up this Monday. What time did we want to set up?"

"Don't worry about setting up. I can do it in the morning and talk to my teachers about class." They looked at me with wide eyes and I smiled.

"I like decorating so I can handle the setting up myself and be done by 5pm for 6:30pm." I spoke.

"The gym is huge and that's a lot of decorations." Anna, our treasurer, spoke concerned.

"She's an art student. I have faith she can do it." Elijah, the secretary, spoke. I looked at him and nodded.

"Yeah but even for an art student, that's still a lot of work. There's no way she can get it done." Mateo spoke as the Historian.

"Don't underestimate our junior class president. She got the job for a reason. She is more than capable of doing it and with no problems. If she wants our help, she will ask." I smiled at Liam who was the reporter.

Classic Liam always has my back.

I sat straight and spoke.

"Let's not argue. We have everything for Thanksgiving. After thanksgiving we are going to have to figure out what we want to do for December. We need ideas and once we get approval from the principal, then we will figure out decorations and so forth." They nodded. We dismissed the meeting, and they got up and left but Liam stayed.

"Are you getting out of Italian and Art class for a reason?" He leaned on the table, and I shook my head while looking at him.

"The only reason is to set up for the potluck. We have 600 students coming to this potluck so I need to get ready since the gym is going to be a lot. I would have to get out of class to get a start."

"So, it's not about Greyson being in your Italian class and you don't want to see him?" I stood up.

"Absolutely not. I don't care about Greyson."

"He is your crush. It's obvious how you look at him during lunch or when we are at the courtyard." I sighed.

"Yes, I have a crush on him but it's a stupid crush. I don't want to date or be in a relationship. I don't have time for drama. I have to focus on work and college." I packed up my bag and he was still looking at me.

"Then why is he calling you?" I looked at my phone that was on the table face up. It was in fact Greyson calling me and I groaned. I declined the call and left the room with Liam laughing. I rolled my eyes and went to my dorm exhausted but excited to go to my dorm to sleep. I opened the door and turned on the lights. I didn't see any Greyson and I sighed. I smiled and walked into my room and turned on the light to see Greyson sitting on my bed. I screamed and held my chest.

"Why the hell do you keep breaking into my dorm?" I asked.

"No reason." I clenched my fist.

"You know its creepy just sitting in a dark room. What are you? A vampire?" I crossed my arms.

"Vampire, really? You think I would be some blood sucking vampire?"

"You act like one so why not?" I grabbed an outfit when I heard a door knock. I tilted my head and went towards the door. I peeked out to see Cat. I opened it and looked at her.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked.

"So since I will be gone Tuesday to go to Argentina for thanksgiving and the others will be gone to their hometown, we were thinking about going clubbing tonight. All of us have off so we can sober up tomorrow."
