I was staring in the mirror in my baggy jeans, sports bra and short set with a button up jersey. Bennett has been taking it pretty difficult when he found out about what really happened to his sister. He still talks but its barely any words and Greyson has been comforting me, telling me he just needs some time to process. I took a deep breath and Celeste was working on my makeup.

"Are you okay?" I hummed.

"I'm just a bit nervous since I'm going to be center a few times. Bennett also has rarely been talking to me so I don't think he will show up. I know they said they said a business thing come up so they don't know if they will make it in time."

"I'm sorry Mae." I decided to tell my friends about my parents a few days ago since I knew they needed to know. It was a emotional day for me and they were very comforting with watching movies and having Wingstop. I closed my eyes so she can do my eyelids.

"I'm sure they will show up. If they really care for you, they will. They'll make time for you just take deep breaths and focus." She finished and I opened my eyes.

"Thank you, Cece." She hugged me and smiled.

"You're going to kick ass out there Mae. You have the moves down and I am so proud of you for getting it down that fast. Bad ass Maelyn is back so prove it. Show the world." I hugged her and then we got prepared. We left with our lanyards and looked around the venue to see many dance groups ranging from Brazil, Japan, Korea, Germany, LA, New York, etc. We watched different dance groups until I heard my name.

"Maelyn! Celeste!" We turned to see the group to see them all walking towards us. I didn't see Greyson nor Bennett so I was a bit upset.

"They didn't show up?" I asked, trying to not sound upset but I failed. We get on in 3 hours and I was scared they wouldn't make it. I looked at my phone to see if there were any calls or messages but nothing.

"Mae." I looked at Catalina and she smiled. They moved and Greyson was standing in casual wear for once. A red polo and khaki jeans with white Nikes. He looked great but I was so happy to see him. I ran to him and jumped into his arms. He hugged me as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He spun me around and I leaned back.

"You think I was going to miss your competition, cara? I didn't think I was going to make it in time but I sped." I immediately kissed him while closing my eyes. I felt every nauseous and nervous feeling go away the instant I seen him and kissed him. It was just us and I enjoyed every second. We broke it and he set me down.

"You lucky her lipstick is matte and doesn't smear." Celeste spoke and we turned to her.

"That's a shame." Greyson said while looking at her. She rolled her eyes.

"She needs to focus."

"She is now since I showed up."

"Since we showed up." I turned to see Bennett walking up. He was in black jeans and a t-shirt that fit against him, and his muscles showed along with Greyson's. I ran and hugged him with my arms wrapped around his waist. He hugged me tight and kissed my head.

"I'm sorry, angel. I don't care what issues I'm dealing with right now, I was not going to miss a big moment for you." I leaned back and started thinking.

"I'll forgive you but I need something first."

"What is it, angel?"

"A kiss."

"That I can do." He leaned down and held my face while kissing me. I smiled in the kiss while giggling. We broke it and I was now feeling confident in my dancing knowing that my boys were going to be watching. He leaned into my ear and whispered.
