[Chapter 26]

Maelyn's POV

I was in the courtyard with Greyson, Bennett, and Catalina. I was studying for the upcoming mid terms that was starting next week before the formal. Celeste came up running and she was out of breath.

"Woah girl, you good?" Celeste asked.

"N-no. M-Maelyn." I looked at her worried and got up.

"Hey, what's up?" I seen Liam and Andres running. 

"Jesus, you're a fast fucking runner." Andres was heaving. 

"What the fuck is going on?" 

"Can you cover someone on the dance team for the competition next Friday?" I shook my head trying to process.

"Wait, huh?" 

"Someone broke their ankle and we need a fill in. I thought of you since I know you are a quick learner." 

"I don't know if I can learn a whole dance routine in a week and a couple days."

"Please Maelyn. I will owe you big time if you do it." I smiled and nodded.

"Okay, I'll help you." She immediately hugged.

"Thank you so much, Mae. I knew I can count on you. Meet at the gym so we can all practice and teach you the moves." I hugged her back and then she rushed off. 

"Now I have to learn a dance routine. Oh my god, what if I fail and they lose because of me." I sat down and ran my hands through my hair.

"You'll do fine, angel." Bennett rubbed my back.

"He's right." Liam sat down still out of breath.

"We'll be there to cheer you guys on."

"I was supposed to be in the crowd with you guys not the show." I groaned and put my face in the book.

"Don't stress about it, Mae. Cece was right. You do learn things very fast so I don't think you'll have an issue with learning the choreography." Andres spoke. They were all giving me pep talks and it did help a bit but now I was starting a dance for a competition I'm not part of, but I can't let Celeste down.

"I won't let her down. I'll just have to work extra hard for the next week." 

"That's it, cara." Greyson kissed my head.

"Now that I see you guys together, you guys are a hot throuple." Cat spoke. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "What? It's a compliment." 

"I'm going to go to the dorm so I can get ready for dancing." I put my stuff away. Greyson and Bennett got up and we waved bye. We got to my dorm and I went to my bedroom while they chilled on my couch. I got changed in black cargo pants and a black T-shirt. Simple and easy to dance in. I grabbed my beanie and then went to the living room with my Nikes. I took a deep breath before standing up. They stood up and smiled at me. 

"You'll do just fine. You got this." I hugged them and they hugged me back. I took a deep breath to inhale their scents.

"I appreciate everything you guys do for me."

"We care for you, cara." Greyson kissed my head. I have never felt so loved until these two and I wanted all our moments to last forever. I enjoyed every moment with them and cherish it with pictures. I post the faceless pictures for my photography account because I know they don't want their face posted so I respect it. I broke the hug and looked up at them to see them already looking to my eyes. I leaned on my tippy toes to kiss Bennett and then Greyson. 

"Now go kick some ass."

"Okay, baby." I left with my bag that was filled with protein snacks and water. I walked into the gym to see the dance crew.
