[Chapter 30]

Greyson's POV- Winter formal

I came back to Bennett who was at the table. He was looking around with dilated eyes and panic all over.

"Hey you okay?" I sat down and he shook his head.

"Maelyn went to the bathroom 2 minutes after you left to get drinks."

 "There was a line so I waited. She still didn't come back?" He shook his head and got up. My stomach churned at the thought that something happened to Maelyn. I got up and as we did, her friends came up.

 "Where's Mae?" Liam asked. We turned and I looked at Catalina and Celeste with slight concern.

 "I need you girls to go to the bathroom and see if she is in there because I was gone for 25 minutes to get drinks and she isn't back." Their eyes went wide at the words I told them. We immediately left to the bathroom and the girls went right in and checked every stall. When they came out, they had Maelyn's makeup bag.

 "No." Bennett voice sounded broken.

 "Maybe she went back to the dorm?" Andres spoke and I shook my head.

 "She wouldn't without telling us and we sure as hell would have went with her." I said with slight anger in my voice.

 "Someone kidnapped her." Bennett spoke and Catalina shook her head as the tears fell, same with Celeste. Liam rubbed his face and Andres just stood frozen.

 "We'll get security and the police." Liam spoke. We left back to the dining and looked around.

 "The security guards are gone."

 "Go home and don't worry. We'll go to the police." I looked at them and they nodded. I got in my car and Bennett hopped in the front. I sped off to HQ and immediately rushed to the training to see the team.

 "I need you to suit up. We are doing a search and rescue." They stopped and started to rush to get ready. I left to my office while on the phone. It rung a few times and then the line went through.

 "Mr. Crest?"

 "I need your help, Mr. Pensci. Maelyn has been kidnapped at the formal. We are doing a search right now. I'll have my men scanning the county for anything unusual."

 "I'll get my men searching in Key West and Ft. Lauderdale."

 "Thank you." I hung up and went into my office while taking off my jacket. I put on my chest holster and grabbed my pistols ad Bennett did the same. I grabbed knives and anything to prepare to kill whoever took Maelyn. I went back to the communications room to see everyone stand up. My team was ready, and we grabbed earpieces. I stood up front with Bennett.

 "This is our top mission. I need everyone checking cameras and identifying a 22-year-old girl, Maelyn Adams is her name. I need all hands-on deck and if you find her, then contact me immediately. The first to find her will get a reward." I announced.

 "Yes boss!" They yelled before getting to work. I left with my team in our cars to hunt down the kidnapper. I sped through every street to find her.

 Be strong, cara. We are going to find you.

 We searched hours and there was nothing.

"Boss, we found Flynn Thatcher's hideout." My phone dinged with the address and I went straight to it. It was a broken down home and I seen the cars. I got out and got my gun out.
"Surround the building. If anyone comes out, shoot. Don't kill them, leave that to me." They surrounded the building and glanced at Bennett. He nodded before we kicked down the door. We searched every room and it was empty.
