Maelyn's POV

I froze at the sight of seeing Greyson and Bennett standing in front of me and Catalina. I felt angry and I took a deep breath.

"I didn't know you guys knew this place." Cat spoke out loud and she was already drunk because of the free drinks some of the men bought. None of them roofied because of the bar that we were at. They would just send it to the end of the bar where we were. I had a few drinks in me and kept glaring at Greyson.

"Yeah, we decided to go clubbing. How did you get into this club anyways?" Bennett asked Catalina. I stayed glaring at Greyson while he was doing the same. I huffed and looked away from him.

Damn it.

"Cat knew a guy who knew someone and got us into the place for free." I looked at Bennett then looked around the club and smiled.

"I will see you guys later. I'm going to go dance." I went to go away, but Greyson grabbed my arm. I turned to him and went to yank my hand away from him. I took my pen knife and opened it up, putting it to his stomach. He looked down at the knife and then disarmed me and closed the knife before putting it back in my clutch.

"Maelyn. That little measly knife won't do anything to me, and you know that. You have to do better than that to harm me." I clenched my jaw, and he pulled me close to him to where I was pressed against his chest. He went down to my ear. I inhaled a breath and held.

"I know you like to not listen to me but please listen to me this once. Leave with your friends back to the dorm. Don't make me say it again." He said into my ear, and I felt my body heat up more at his demand and warning and it's definitely not the alcohol that is heating me up like a volcano about to erupt. His hand was on my waist and his other hand was around my wrist. He backed away and looked into my eyes then lips. I see his jaw tighten and then back away slowly.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't have to give you a reason. Just listen."

"If you can't give me a reason on why you want us to leave then I don't have to leave. I can stay with my friends."

"Maelyn. You are drunk and need to go home. Now."

"Why, Greyson?" I asked.

"Follow me." I gave him a confused look.

"What?" He sighed and grabbed my hand before dragging me to a room. He opened the room and it was a bathroom. He closed the door and locked it. I backed away from him starting to get nervous. "I am not drunk."

"Listen. There is a murderer on the loose and he is at the club right now, choosing his next victim so unless you want to be on his list which you are, then leave the club and go back to the dorm." My heart picked up.

"W-what? H-how do you know this?"

"I overheard his conversation." He spoke and I all of sudden felt lightheaded and sick. I held the wall and shook my head.

"My friends."

"Bennett is telling Catalina. You guys need to leave."

"But you and Bennett?"

"He won't come after men, but we called the cops, and they are on the way so please leave." I nodded and we walked out and seen a guy walking towards us. I definitely felt lightheaded, and I took a deep breath. I all of sudden hit the wall and hissed. I looked up to see the guy pinning Greyson to the wall. My eyes widened and I started to shake. I took out my pepper spray and grabbed him.

"Let him go!" The guy turned and I sprayed his eyes while Greyson turned his head closing his eyes. The guy hissed and grabbed my arm but Greyson slammed his head into the wall and the guy fell. He put his body in the bathroom before dragging me away.
