Janet's P.O.V.

I wake up in a cold sweat. It was a memory this whole time. I see grandma Mari sitting at the end of my bed holding a glass ball in her lap.

"Your mother gave me permission to copy the dream from you and your brother. It looks like what that device recorded it all they got for information. I also copied the other 2's as well." 

"Grandma, are you sure they won't still hate me?"

Instead of her answering me she pulls me out of bed and into the living room where the other 3 were. It seems like my brother came out here when the dream was done. From what I could tell they have been awake longer than I have. Grandma sits me down in one of the chairs.

"Do any of you hate her?" she asked them. 

They all look at me surprised. I look down quickly, fidgeting with my fingers. 

"No!" they all said at the same time. 

I looked up and was surprised that they are not lying. Kaiden gets up and walks to me then kneels so we are face to face.

"We were astonished, surprised and astonished but we don't hate you. In fact, we were just talking about how amazing and brave you were. Titus was explaining what it was like long ago in some places for women. You stopped an evil man from hurting anymore people. There is no way we could hate you."

I ended up balling like a child that whoever else was in the house heard, came to check on me. Grandpa Dale, mom, and Scarlett came and helped calm me down. We talked for a while before heading to bed. That night I had dreamed of all the information I got that day and had one fun and cool dream. In one part I kissed Titus on the lips and got married to him.

The next day we went through Scarlett's magic portal. It was black, that made me sick. I puke as soon as I got to the other side. Zesty, whose real name I learned was Zane, and Josh headed back the long way. Josh's mom called after dinner, to let him know a weird man was asking where he was. Most likely, my creepy uncle. They already left an hour ago. When I was feeling better I took in my surroundings. Looks like we stepped into a gym. 

"Where are we?" asked mom.

"We are in one of the abandoned Flint schools. We have redone the classrooms to bedrooms and offices. One of them got turned into a kitchen. You guys will be on the top floor with me and Titus." explains Scarlett as we are climbing the stairs.

Titus adds,"That floor is a restricted area. If you see someone other than me and Scarlett, then tell them they must leave. If they do not leave then call for Scarlett. If you just call for her, the magic will transfer the sound to her. Now, I am going to catch up on work."

He waves bye as he walks away. The gym is bustling with people. Each part of the gym had something different going on. One had drugs of all kinds being organized. Another had different guns and at the other end was a workout area with fierce looking men and women. Some looked more animalistic and rugged. As I was looking around I noticed that we had many eyes on us. Over half of them looked straight at us, while others stole glances as they worked. I felt uncomfortable with their stairs.  

"If you think it's bad with them staring at you then, you better be happy you are not me." Marco starts talking to me. 

I look around and he is right. The rest of us got more wondering faces. Marco is getting jealous and pissed off looks. 

That really did help me calm down. 

"Why are they giving you such looks?" I asked

"I have been a Yellow Pepper for only 6 months. For me to be walking out of Crimson Fang's portal is like being a beginner employee to suddenly working directly for the CEO not long after. They consider humans silly inters, even though most were born human. " he explains. 

As soon as Titus left we followed Scarlett to where we would be staying. We walked past the open gym doors  to a wide set of stairs and at the top is a door, that you can tell it was just thrown there but still looked pretty sturdy. Scarlett opened and held the door open with her back. As each of us came in she asked for our hands. Grandma went first without hesitation and held out one of her hands. Scarlett had a dark wooden bowl in her hand. With the other hand dipped her thump in and stamped her thump print on grandma Mari's wrist that was palm up. The thump print disappeared. When we all passed through the door she explains why.

"This is so when I leave the magic I casted on the property won't see you as an intruder and setting off magic traps. There are different kinds. You were okay when we got here because you are with me. They would have activated once I left. I also picked out your rooms for you. I put a lot of care into it as well. So, I hope you enjoy a break before we get back to business. I must get going now. My work got piled up as well. Bye-bye." she waves as the door closes with a thud.

This place is like a big apartment. You have the kitchen, living room and dining room on one side. bathroom in the back. Then the bedrooms on the other side starting from the door has everyone's names on them. The rooms wrap around the floor. They are as follows: Scarlett, Titus, me, Kaiden, Sally, mom, and then it says Mari and Dale in the last room. We head to our respective rooms. Marco follows Kaiden to his. I guess because he doesn't have a room here. All the dogs and wolves quickly explore the apartment.

I opened the door with my name all the way, the door touches the wall. The wall of the room was covered in dark blue. The bed was a twin with bright teal covers and light oak wood furniture. Swipe and Mimi jump on the bed and get comfortable on the bed. I look out the window. It shows proof that we are living in an abandoned school. You can see where playground equipment was at. I start to unpack what little I brought from my backpack.

"Rat shit, get out of my room. It's not yours."

I suddenly hear behind me. I turn around to see a pale woman dressed in a tight tank top where there is mesh in the middle of the chest. You can see a bit of her nice sized boobs. Her dark blue jean skirt barely reaches her knees. She has bright blond hair and green eyes. Her heels look like the kind a stripper would wear. The dogs lowly growl at her

"Um, what?" I replied.

"I said Get Out of MY Room Rat Shit. It's Not Yours." she repeated like I was dumb.

"I heard what you sa-"

"Okay then. Get going now and take your rat mutts with you." she did not give me a chance to finish.

All my frustration was boiling over and she was the perfect person to release it on.

I raised my voice right back at her,"I do not know who you think you are but Scarlett personally gave this room to me! If you have any problems take them up with her!"

Her green eyes suddenly have red in the white of her eyes. I blink and she is not at the door but holding me in the air by my throat. At this point the dogs are loud and viciously barking and growling.
