Chapter 5

The next morning

Scarletts pov

I woke up with a smile on my face. Today is my first official day as a Gooner. I get out of bed and do my morning routine. While I come out of my room I see Kyra doing the same. "Goodmorning Kyra." I say with a smile on my face. "Morning Scar." 

We both go downstairs and see Alessia cooking us some breakfast. "Morning girls, I have made you some breakfast but we need to get going quick because we have training in an hour." Alessia says while handing us some food. "Thanks Alessia." Me and Kyra both say. 

We head to the car and chat the whole way to training. Once we arrive Jonas pulls me aside. "Good morning Scarlett. How was your night with Alessia and Kyra?" Jonas says. "Morning. It was great they are so welcoming. " I Say "That's wonderful to hear I just wanted to have a quick chat and talk about training. Obviously I know you can play very well but I just want to make sure you know about all the drills and our likings of the game play." He shows me all our training stuff and after I head back to the Changing room."

"Here's the star, we were just talking about you." I hear an Irish accent say. "Katie I swear to god.." I look to my right and see Kyra and Katie. "Oh hey guys." I Say. Kyra has gone red by the looks of it and Katie is hunched over laughing. What is going on?

"Scarlett look your next to me." I hear Beth say. We are next to each other in the changing room and on my left is Beth and my right is Lotte. We continue to chat and then we are off to training.

Training was hard, but I tried my hardest and put a few tricks on the girls which impressed Jonas which was good. "Oh my god Scar you're amazing. " Kyra says. "Thanks so much ky." I say, Kyra has gone all red and im not sure what's going on. "Sooo...... I was wondering if you wanted to get lunch with me today, you know to get to know my roommate better. I would have also invited Alessia but she has some media duties." Kyra rambles. "Yeah of course I would love to!" We hop in the changing room with a smile on our face and Steph acts "why are you guys smiling so hard." "Nothing." We say at the same time. Im so exited!
