" Do you think this is appropriate?"
You twirled in the red satin dress with an inducing black corset choosing to bare your grandmother's wings. You'll then have a story prepared in case asked about it. You even had fae marking to condone with it giving you a starlight effect. In meaning this, on each arm bared a butterfly imprint as well as one on your chest matching your mask. It took energy to keep them lit, so you have to be conservative.
" I think it's perfect. Lets buy this and prepare yourself now mentally for tonight."
From what the Board of Witchcraft can gather, the owners of that seal are from a very private group that's so secretive and such high standards that few can get in. They're not even sure of the qualifications for it. Also, it can't be a coincidence that their seal is a crystal, and what you derive from. You had thought this hoping to find others like you, or possibly in the same lineage.
You, Diana, and the Board went over various of topics installing some reliance upon yourself. You then hopped in your carriage glad that it was never sold. Diana was the driver, and you two set course for Goldstein.
After a few dreary house, you two entered the town to find a more fortunate side. You understood wealth now, but back in the day, you would wish for this sort of life. Now that you're there though, you honestly wouldn't mind simpler times. Your destination was a grand mansion, and you pray you won't be whisked away like the Blood Moon Ball. You couldn't dare go through that again knowing how it appeared to the public. You grip tightly to the untampered bag of Gemlings having around fifteen. Surely, this will be enough to satisfy their host. You flutter your wings at the entrance at the anxiety that filled you especially when you're stopped. It was by a man at the entrance, and he holds out a hand expecting something to be given.
" Gold? I.. I hadn't brought any-."
" I'm talking about what's in the bag."
" Oh! Of course!"
You opened it taking out a Gemling, and he studies it through the tour he light attached to the brick just to be utterly speechless at what he sees.
" Madam, what's your name?"
" Y/n. Y/n L/n."
" My apology. You're a guest of honor, am I right? Let me take you to Zekial. He's been expecting you."
You nod as the bouncer leaves his post and into the party. Your make your body imagery power up showing the butterfly emblems as you walked through crowd. You wished you could see beyond that mask of theirs as you march up carpeted steps. Once at the very top, you looked down into the crowd feeling the sensation of so much energy and magic hovering between each other.
" Who are you if I may ask?"
You look up to see the bouncer is gone, and you looked frantically all around ignoring the dark man's question. He makes a tsk sound before flaring a set of purple horns out of thin air along with a barbed tale to match.
" I don't like repeating myself-."
" I'm sorry. A man was taking me to see Zekial."
" I see.. I'm his cousin Orson. I don't mind leading the way. Shall we?"
You're take into a corridor and a set of black doors that lined it. You two say nothing as you studied the Devil not particularly liking his crudeness from earlier. He abruptly stop giving you a little wink before giving a playful knock.
" This isn't the time for your shenanigans Orson."
" You wouldn't keep this pretty lady waiting, would you? Well," he looks back at you distastefully," she's decent at least."
