"Hello? Hi Adnan! What's up?What do you need to see me for?" I asked as i rested a hand on my hip.

"Hey! Hi! Actually- It's regarding Grace. It's regarding a surprise for her."His voice came through.

"Sure! Let's meet at Confiserie Sprungli in 30 minutes?" I questioned already walking to my closet.

"Umm. Id rather you come to my place incase she finds out. You know kids have been hot on clicking you now a days. She's definitely going to find out the reason for our meeting."

"Uh yes. Um okay. Where's grace ?"

"She's at boarding for now. I'll send you my location."

"Okay sure!"

As I  made my way to Adnan's house, I  couldn't help but notice the grandeur of the place, much like my own. It was big sure, but tasteful? I wouldn't say. The mahogany wood and lack of engaging decor left me feeling a bit underwhelmed, but i brushed it off as i was here for an important reason.

Adnan greeted me warmly, and we made our way to his room to discuss whatever was on his mind. The secret birthday surprise for Grace. Adnan confided in me about his need for secrecy, wanting to plan a big dinner surprise without Grace finding out. He explained his concerns about Grace discovering his plans through his phone, if she were to casually check it, which led him to reach out to me for help in a secretive setting. He ushered me to his sitting in the bedroom where ranges of liquor bottles were kept.

"I think we can do a funky Halloween theme dinner and party." I suggested immediately because Grace gave that vibe.

"That's very intone with her personality actually haha."He chuckled

"Let's do red velvet cake with devil horns "He suggested.

"Do you want to try any of these vines?"

"Ofcourse we need different kinds, for party favours, the bar and gifting." I said as he started putting small ounces in each glass and we tasted them discussing their notes and if it were fit for the designated idea.

"Okay! What about the venue?"He questioned.

"A French renaissance backdrop?" I suggested as i wrote the previous answers in my phone.

"Perfect. Truely and divinely Grace." He marvelled at the setting.

After a lengthy discussion, we decided on a Halloween theme for Grace's party, considering her funky rebel princess personality. As we finalised the details for the caterers, decorators, and liquor selection, I couldn't help but notice Adnan stealing glances at me, as i jot down details. I shrugged it off, attributing it to the late hour and the intensity of our planning session.

With everything set, I and Adnan agreed to meet the next day to work on the guest list and kickstart the preparations. Despite the late hour and the lingering glances, Arya felt excited about the party planning and looked forward to making Grace's birthday celebration truly unforgettable.

As i typed away on my phone a notification popped up.

Xavier- 'Come to my office. Right now.'

"Listen, I've got to go. But let's go for the tasting and catering soon so we can make the bookings.

I bid farewell to Adnan with a warm smile, thanking him for the meeting and he hugged me.Waving to him, I get into my car and Elliot, takes me to Xavier's office. As we arrive, I notice the building is quiet with only a few staff members around obviously because it's almost night. Aron greets me and guides me upstairs to Xavier's office, chatting about how busy Xavier has been lately.
